First off, they did not put my return city correct, over charged me when I had rental all set and paid for online, guy was informed of his error and said oh just find your nearest uhaul and drop off, don't EVEr let them tell you that. I tried 3 different locations that would not accept my return of equipment, so I called uhaul and Randy told me to drop it off at a location and when I get there call customer service and they will do an after hours return. Well that did not work either, lady I spoke to said I would need to call scheduling the next day? I called scheduling and the first lady i spoke with was not sure what to do, she put me on hold and I ended up having to call back again because I was on hold so long it went back to customer service. I called scheduling again and finally got a very helpful gentleman who resolved everything for me. And I finally got the email that equipment was returned. Needless to say the whole adventure was a shitshow.
Melanie DMaking sure a reservation is reserved at an actual U-Haul store, and not at a third party/gas station. Because, the third party specifically does not help with anything. This was my first time renting a cargo trailer, and I had to connect my hitch, and trailer by myself. This is a safety hazard, and very poor customer service on their part.
kendrick cThe trailer had a faulty tire that was on the verge of blowing on the highway. I spotted this after experiencing violent vibrations. Upon stopping, the tire had a flat spot and deformity. The fault was quickly repaired, however, this should have been spotted upon maintenance. I had to cancel reservations due to the requirement for repair. The reason for renting a trailer is so I do not have to worry about maintainance. Quick and great service from the repair, but this should never have happened.
