I dropped the trailer off at the designated location on Monday July 6 only to find that as of July 1 the U-haul person is only there on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The lady at the counter said I could leave the trailer and the U-Haul person would check it in tomorrow. I got a call from someone from U-Haul asking me when I was going to bring the trailer in. I told her that I did on Monday and what the situation was with it only being open three days a week. I got a receipt via email later so I believe they got clarification I had indeed returned it. The only reason I would recommend this location is I believe it’s the only option.
Jeff GI don't really know how to score the questions I left blank. On the one hand, despite a reservation, when I called to provide an estimated arrival time to pick up my trailer, I was told they were closed on that day. On the other hand, when I explained the situation, a non-UHAUL employee stepped up and made sure I got my trailer, even calling their UHAUL guy who was on maternity leave to get instructions on how to hook up the trailer. So kudos for the initiative and effort to make it right. The only material thing I would point out is that the location did not have all the necessary tools. I ended up having to drive to a tire shop about 2 miles away to loosen the hitch ball on my hitch to turn it in the opposite direction, then back to the UHAUL location to hook up the trailer.
Vince CI had a great experience, renting a U-Haul truck from this location in Bishop. Everybody on the customer service and scheduling with U-Haul really helped me to secure the truck, and the after hours, mobile check-in, made it possible for me to pick it up. When I spoke to anyone at the store, they were friendly and helpful and I truly appreciate all of their assistance.
