This U-Haul location is not a main store; it is a side business that isn't well staffed nor do they have a large inventory of U-Haul trucks, trailers, supplies, etc... It is ok if you are dropping off a rental, but for a better inventory of U-Haul rentals and products, it would be better to make the extra drive to the Columbia, MO location.William S.

My complaint is against the UHaul Moving and Storage at University of Missouri - I had a reservation last weekend # 20851372 Robert Wilson - I was advised on 05/28 that my reserved equipment (that was reserved months in advance!) was not available in the immediate area and that I would have to drive 50 miles round trip to Booneville MO to pick up the equipment I required. My original reservation did not request Safe Tow - however, the Booneville location added Safe Tow and charged me an additional $30. I did not order this and did not want this service. I would like an immediate refund of $30 to my credit card. Also your "$50 guarantee if your equipment is not available" statement on you web site - I guess that policy only applies if you totally screw a customer, not just inconvenience them with a 50 miles and an hour out of his way trip! This has been a horrible customer experience. With a standing reservation months in advance, seems my equipment would be there, or YOU would go to Booneville and pick it up. Overall this experience was satisfactory. The issue that I had was that the owner of the facility called at 11:00 AM, stating that he was closing up early and needed me to be there before 1:00 PM. I work or an hour away, I did not know ahead of time he was closing up early and so it made it somewhat inconvenient. The drop off/return was convenient. There were some documents posted that were biased towards a particular religion and political pins that expressed some specific political views. That made me somewhat uncomfortable. I understand that this is a privately owned location. The owner was polite and pleasant to work with.Tawny B.

1st actually pick up the phone and call your dealerships and let them know a customer is on the way so we the customer doesn't have to wait for an hour,,2nd have your dealerships check equipment like tires, they shouldn't go out unfixed especially if the pick up place is a mechanic shop. Finally when your district people give something to customers, the should keep ALL of what they say they are going to do, not just some of the things that they said.Robert S.
