I noticed a worker dumping the soapy wash water used to clean out the back of one of the trucks onto the pavement. Such wastewater should go to the wastewater sewer, not to the ground/rain sewer.

We dropped-off the truck after the office had closed. This location is in an unsafe neighborhood and the signage was poor about where we were to enter the lot, park the truck, and drop the keys.

The person who waited on me kept having me swipe my debit card and now i'm out if almost $20 for the things i paid cash for..sge sent it thru the 1sr time then tried to correct what i paid cash for so right now i'm upset about it where i returned it to told me to go back to mass ave and have them give me my money back..but i don't have time for that

Dont allow or change the way reservations are done , the system should know the amount of vehicles available for rental. I made a reservation a day in advance for a van although there were no vans available when i arrived, was able to get a small truck but truly inconvenient as the location i was going to had a garage in which the van wouldve fit perfectly which is why i reserved the van , i got a small truck that wouldnt fit in the garage so i had to park out in the street and walk a good distance to the entrance

Female manager is very rude. Service is extremely slow. There is a conflict between booking online and what they have available onsite. Workers on the registers are not well trained.

I needed to drop off a 6x12 trailer after a cross/country move. It took a several minutes to find a team member to assist us; however, once we did find someone to help, Jim Desmond was very efficient and friendly.

This location is not safe at night. There was multiple homeless people by the location and one even chased after me when I went to go drop the car off. There also was someone in the onsite dumpster screaming. I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life. This place should not allow over night pick ups.

The lady to whom I returned the truck was very professional and helpful, and the equipment was all fine, but Yomaira(sp?) was so unbelievably rude when I picked up the truck that I will absolutely NEVER use this location again. I have never complained about an employee like this before, but days later I still cannot believe how rude she was.

Hi I rented a van there last weeekend, i have a small business where I rent about 40 times a year, I haven't traditionally used uhaul but I tried it this time. I came in early and the girl at the counter was nice and efficient but when I went to pick up the car the gas was off and the guy bringing the truck didn't seem to care and just signed his name, from there I noticed blood on he outside of the van I was in a rush so just jumped In and went on to do what I needed to do. When I arrived to where I was going I looked inside the van and there was blood all in the inside the van was disgustingly dirty. For 240 dollars for a 36 hour rental I don't need much but to have blood all over the van it seems really unreasonable. This location was huge and has hundreds of cars I'm sure they have a washing station I'd appreciate if they washed it next time.

U-Haul rental complaints: I talked to a manager prior to renting equipment (one way) and 4 months of storage that I would get one month of free storage. This was after I was originally told that the storage had to be after the equipment rental. I explained this to the manager who assured me that one month of the storage could be credited at the time that I picked up the truck even if I was renting storage before the equipment. I explained this to the gal at the counter but was told that I was given incorrect information. I've left messages and I've not received any phone calls in response. I'm very disappointed and I feel cheated. Since I was not given an emailed receipt after purchasing online, there was also no record of my purchases so it took even longer to get checked out. I told them what I thought I purchased and fortunately, it matched the invoice total so they let me have my items after quite a long look up since it had been months since I reserved equipment and made purchases. When I purchased the items, there should have been a receipt emailed to me so that I could recall my purchases and so the personnel at the counter could also. Also the line at the counter was ridiculous. You need to have an express check out line for people who use your online check out option and for things like purchasing packing materials, locks, etc. To add insult to injury, my daughter was sold a lock that would not work on the truck (a big round one) and we were not about to wait in line for an hour or more to exchange it for the right size....so we drove to a hardware store to get one. When I first reserved the equipment (early in the year), I also purchased moving services for both a move out and a move in. The movers were fine but my daughter and I ended up moving all but the heaviest items ourselves since the timing was all messed up by the hour long wait at the counter.

Registration and pre check-in were excellent. Facility was super busy so having completed pre check-in made all the difference. Drop off was also flawless. Vehicle was very new and operated perfectly. Well done!

I've been a U-Haul customer for since 1990 and this was the worst experience I've had in those 27 years by far. First, there was an hour long wait at the facility which was somewhat understandable given the busy time of year in Boston. However, there is no excuse for the complete miscommunication and miss handling of my contract. I called three times prior to my arrival at the location to ensure I could keep the truck on premise for two nights (even though I was charged for three) because I could not move in until that Friday (pick-up was Wednesday). The only redeeming part of this fiasco was a customer service representative named Melinda (wish I had her last name). Melinda was able to secure a location for the truck, however, as it turns out added 3 hours of travel time to our move (location was only 10 miles away but Boston traffic is crazy this time of year). I will unfortunately seek other options for my next move.
