I created my reservation online, received an online confirmation - but when I get to the location to pick up the uhaul the entire location was closed and no one to give me the uhaul. I had to pay for a cab to another uhaul location across town, cancel my old order and create a new order. I was behind on the time i designated to move and the people helping me had to wait an entire hour passed what I when I asked them to help me. I paid over $15 in a cab to get to the next location when I could WALK to the first one I ordered at. For all the trouble I only got $10 off my bill, which didnt even cover my cab fee, nonetheless my time. Bad experience

The truck I rented the speedometer was off by 3 MPH as compared to the speed on the GPS so the odometer would register false mileage too, saying I drove MORE than I did. The U Haul attendant was kind enough to delete the miles I was over to resolve the problem. Problem solved. Happy customer.

Always rent my equipment from this location because the employee team is one of the best in Boston! High turnover in other locations definitely disrupt the customer experience and quality of customer service. I elected to do a self-pickup at this location. When we showed up, the van was not available and there was not a way for me to get the keys. We had to wait in line anyways and were berated by one of the male employees while we waited for him to determine which van we should take. I ended up having to re-check in on their computer systems 3 times and it took over an hour for us to get our car. Then we only had 3 hours to use on our 4 hour rental. Will definitely not be returning. One female employee, Yomara (I think that was her name), was extremely helpful and was our only saving grace while we were there.

We really wanted a van and ended up with a 10' truck which was too big and difficult to drive. However, we were very impressed with the professionalism of Hector, the area representative who was available and honest and kind. He should get a raise!

While The staff person at the desk was very pleasant and respectful, she was not sufficiently trained to assure I was properly informed of related and necessary charges and had proper equipment. Also, the person dealing with the "hook up" on the carrier to the van I had, did not alert the driver of his concern about the height of the van. This meant the I had to cancel out the 1st transaction and start over again with covered trailer. I had to go back to the desk to fiinalize the transaction, 3-4 times, and was there over an hour. It was not due to long lines it was due to the staff not prepared to inform me of the all the related considerations of my request. I did speak to the manager, he was most apolegtic, said she was a relatively new employee and he was aware of her not being sufficiently prepared. The location is a convenient one, if I or anyone else I know has to deal with UHaul I will give them a head's up to consider other options if they need to get in and out. While remaining pleasant and respectful to all employees, I was under considerable time constraints, so having the constant back and forth was highly aggravating. I hope I get some acknowledegment of my concerns. Uhaul can demonstate they take my lengthy summary of poor service seriously by refunding my money and indicating they will assure all staff is properly supervised and trained. Thank you,

One thing that did not go well is self pick up. As i started the process and went thru first 3 steps, someone else came by and self checked out as well taking our assigned van. So we had to go back in line at that point. No big deal, but wasted 30 min or so. I suggest you block a vechicle once one customer started self check out.

Respond to customer issues in a timely manner. The vehicle we received was absolutely horrible and smelled like previous renters were smoking and/or doing drugs in the vehicle. I reached out because the smell was unbearable and we didn't want to be charged for the extra mileage to bring the truck back. No one called us back and we had to use a family members truck to move the items we needed to. Customer service is simply not the best and associates act like they're home with no urgency to assist customers.
