When we dropped off the truck there were homeless people dumpster diving on the uhaul lot for mattress pads, it felt very unsafe. My boyfriend left the lock on the truck, so that no one would steal the mattress pads, and then left his lock key on the car keys so that the staff could unlock it without anything being stolen- which were the exact instructions given. Instead, they cut off our lock, did not use the keys, and when we called uhaul customer service they said we'd get a call back from the store location for more info/a credit, and never heard back.

Staff did not have early pick-up cargo van ready to go. Had to wait and picked up truck 30 minutes after I was supposed to. Not the most friendly bunch. The staff miss-read the mileage which resulted in an extra $1,000 charge to my credit card saying I went 1000 miles when I went less than 5 miles. I will look for a different rental truck agency next time I move.

Parking is a nightmare and waiting lines were long. The staff were all knowledgeable and incredibly patient, so once at the counter, everything is great. It is just getting there.

I had checked in online prior to my rental, once I arrived at the location I had to then wait in line and essentially do it all over again. I ordered 2 furniture dollies, only one was available. The rep told me they never have enough. I'd also ordered furniture blankets, they were missing.

I tried using the mobile 24/7 service to retrieve the truck. I feel that it was not efficient at all bc I still ended up having to go inside the outlet and wait in line to pick up the key. They also gave me a truck with the padlock on it, so I drove half way to my destination and received a call that I needed to drive back. I am assuming this was bc I used the 24/7 service and went to the truck myself rather than having someone deliver the truck to me. I will not use the app anymore for picking up vehicles.

They charged me for a gas sales fee that was not applicable since I return the van with the same gas that was in it when I picked it up. I have not been able to resolve this issue in two days. I can't seem to reach anyone in the Mass Ave location.

On the Saturday morning when I was there, the inside counters were understaffed, which meant there were long lines. The staff were very friendly, they just seemed overworked.

Although the staff was very friendly and courteous, there was not enough staff. There was a long line at the counter. One more person at the registry would have been awesome.

I rented a dolly which are kept outside of the main facility and it rained the night before causing the dolly to be wet when the person put it in my truck. I would suggest covering the dollies or wiping them off before putting them in the truck.

When I placed my revervation, I was told that rate was 131.. when I went to pickup the truck I was giving a different rate. The explanation giving people from Arizona always give the wrong rate.. would I rent again uhual maybe no!
