I picked up a 26 foot van this morning it was clean however it absolutely stunk of marijuana or use the vehicle for approximately three I was brought the truck back early due to a screaming headache just couldn't stay in the vehicle any longer this is my fourth rental over the last two months and I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed I did get $25 off the bill but overall did not accomplish what I needed to do today.

Upon return I was given a final price. Today I was called twice saying the truck had not been returned. Then i was charged more than what I was told upon return. This is not acceptable. Employees should be on the same page. If I returned a truck early why am I being called by two different reps asking when I will return the truck? Lack of communication within the company dors not look good.

when we were given the contract it stated that the gas tank was full. Upon inspecting the vehicle, we pointed out that the gas tank was on 1/2. The Uhaul staff marked our copy of the contract at the 1/2 point and put his initials. However, this information should have been corrected in the system. When we returned the van on the on-way trip. We brought the truck back at 1/2 a tank, but they charged me for not filling it up. I was told, it was not in the system. Now I am trying to get a refund of $52.50 for the gas they charged on my credit card. Since the truck was left in another state, the Mass Ave office said they cannot give me a refund, I have to go back to where the truck was left. This makes not kind of sense. All Uhaul locations should be able to communicate to one another to solve issues like this.

Jim denoup, (sorry if I miss spell his last name) he is an excellent employee. He provided me an excellent customer service going above and beyond to answer my questions. It was my 1st time to move after 10 years and I had a lot of questions. He was very patience and help me figure out this challeng for the day. Thank you to you all the great work you do.

The parking lot exit has bad pot holes at the bottom of a steep incline, thus causing customers cars to "bottom out". Scrape underside of customer car. The Rug Doctor that I rented was filthy and clogged. Vibrated and heated up and did not wash/vacuum my rugs. No spray came out/no vacuum suction. So I had to manually clean my floors with the upholstery attachment-which worked alright but the plastic was jagged and damaged fibers. Upon returning the unit, I followed the "return rentals here/stop here and customer service agent will be with you" signs. I parked my car and waited. An employee came and said I couldn't park there and I had to reverse to park elsewhere and bring the unit inside the office. I then noticed a stop/do not enter sign, next to the the above mentioned signs. Confusing.

The pick-up experience in the morning was very smooth. Not a huge deal but a suggestion - I found that drop-off was a poorly managed experience. We waited more than 5 minutes in the drop-off area before even being acknowledged by any of the surrounding attendants. I know there can be a lot going on in the drop-off area, but a simple "hello, we will be with you shortly" would have been both a helpful assurance that we were in the right place, and a friendly acknowledgement that we had been seen- especially in this instance where there was only one other van/truck being dropped off at the same time.

Great staff - very helpful. I had an excellent experience. When I noticed the oil gauge on my truck showed "change oil soon", they immediately switched out for a new vehicle with a minimum of hassle. Shantikwa (sp?) has an exceptional phone manner!

The first truck they tried to give me had a headlight that was out and the tech didn't even notice. The second truck I received had a lock on the back that I couldn't use because they gave me the wrong keys, so I had to return to the store to get the correct key, which wasted my time and fuel I needed to put back into the vehicle.
