Overall experience with Uhaul was positive but the physical location is in one of the worst drug and violent crime areas in the city. I decided to walk there to alleviate the need for an Uber or taxi and was thankful I got to the office without getting mugged or killed. Watched drug addicts shooting up on the sidewalk outside the office.

I was dramatically overcharged. When I went to checkout the vehicle the person updated both the mileage and the gas gauge on my contract. I was billed based on the original amount of both. I sent an email and left a voicemail but no one got back to me. I am very disappointed in my experience and cannot recommend this location.

The agent that rented me The truck was rude. I think they have to be trained properly how to deal with a good customer service and make their customer happy and satisfied..this cannot be seen in this location. Lack of care and negligence on duties..

Truck was fine, but they told me on the phone that the price of the insurance was $14, but when I got there they said it would be $29. I even confirmed the 17 foot truck that I was getting and they said it would be $14, but when I got there they seemed to have forgotten.

I reserved a van for early mobile pick up at 7 AM and the van was available and easy to pick up, however the back was locked and no key was provided to open it. I was forced to wait until 9 AM for the store to open and for someone to unlock the back only to find that none of the reserved equipment had been placed in the van. It was a complete waste of time and I was unable to complete my move as scheduled. Having vans ready as ordered with all the keys to unlock would be nice for the next customer.

This location on Mass Ave Boston is a MESS!! Nobody has a clue what is going on. I was yelled at and condescended to and then told everything was fine only to have another man working there scream at me for getting in the car... then the manager came over and said everything is fine? Absolutely bizarre. Harassed the entire time I was there. Had to bring my boyfriend with me to return it.

The truck I rented wasn't supposed to be out in service. The passenger mirror was broke. I didn't realize until I was at my location, but the mirror just spins. I had no idea if people were beside me. I had to drive through Boston traffic hoping the mirror would spin back. Upon returning, the lady said it shouldn't have been given to me because it was written up for a broken mirror.

The orginal van assigned had not been checked in yet as the mile/gas did not match so they gave us another van. We original rented for 24 hrs but returned in 13 hours as we no longer needed. Then my bill came and i was charged for 2 days !!!! Prob the same person did not check it in !!!! I am very unhappy.

It is Not $19.99 like they advatice. Taxes an Fees are not included. And you also need ro add the gas before returning is another $$$.

You need more people working the front desk, or employees who are much more efficient. Both times I've been to this location I've had to wait a significant amount of time (once 30 minutes, another 1.5 hours) even though I had a reservation and arrived 30 minutes prior to my scheduled reservation.

Truck was not really cleaned in the cab, but the real issue was the uncapped hypodermic needle I found in the back or the truck where I almost got stabbed by it putting a box up into “moms attic” staff inside was very helpful and nice, if it wasn’t for the risk of a BBP from a needle I would have rated this place much higher.

It was so smooth. My bf drove the equipment in and the front desk provided me with a receipt. They had it checked in by the time I got to the front desk. I have never been in a Uhaul location and I was impressed by the actual store, instead of just a dealer.
