I'm very disappointed the Uhaul truck was given to us at a quarter tank! We had to fill up the tank almost immediately as we had to drive for quite a while. Since we had to give the truck back at a quarter tank, we ended up putting more gas in than necessary and thus increasing the cost of our trip.. I would happily take a refund on the excessive gas if possible. Additionally, we were the only ones in the morning and already made reservations online to pick up the truck, and we waited for almost 20 minutes to pick up our truck. We don't know what took so long.

it was a welcoming experience for me at U-haul on Sunday. I got in early, and within 10 minutes, was on my way. I returned about 5 minutes before closing, and the rental was dealt with promptly. if I need there services again, i would have no hesitation.

Had issues with the truck from the beginning as I noticed that the heating/cooling system would not shut-off. Called the support line and after being on hold for close to 30minutes an agent answered and basically couldn’t wait to pass me on to someone else at Road Assistance; which took another 20minutes. As this wasn’t a road assistance issue they transferred me again back to customer support. At that time I just hang up and went about my day with the window open. Unfortunately next last hours of my rental turns into really bad weather and the malfunction of your vehicle now became dangerous as my windshield kept fogging up as the defroster would not work. This was an absolute HORRIBLE experience.

The book a truck with your phone service didn't work and I din't find out until I was there- taking photos in the rain and freezing my ass off and then having to find somewhere to wait for 3 hrs until the office opened- and no refund/discount offered.

My special U-HAUL customer experience today started with an amazing Melissa whom completed my van reservation with the best smile and speed I have ever seen. Then a great experience continued out in the lot as the team brought the vehicle over and were all courteous, helpful and efficient. Not even the rain or line of customers stopped this location's team from giving everyone 4A+ service. The van drove perfectly and was the right size for my move today. This location's team deserves a bonus or a pay raise. I was also impressed with the ease of doing my Online reservation and tested the U-HAUL App. The various follow-up e-mails I received during and after, were super efficient and easy to understand. Waited almost an hour to collect equipment upon arrival. Truck was OK, but trailer severely lacking maintenance. Both tire strap ratchets partially seized, one strap heavily damaged from ratchet. Chains almost worn thru due to dragging on the road. Very unhappy to pay $250 for this.

I rented a ten foot truck, had it for an hour and a half and drove it for 9 total miles. I was charged 100 bucks because I didn’t replace the half gallon of gas that I used. I knew I would have to pay for it but they add high fees and crazy extra charges. I figured there would be some inflated per gallon charge and since I hardly drove it wouldn’t be bad but lesson learned they nail you! Watch the hidden charges!!!!

I had to moved Couch from Mattapan to Haverhill. It took me 2 1/2 hours. I saw the sign $19.95 and I said that a great deal. Well after I turn the truck in I end up paid $160.00. I don’t think I will be using U Haul again.

Maintenance on the vehicles your company is making millions on. I rented a 15 truck and it was really bad. The brakes worked but did not feel adequate. The vehicle needs an alignment. The truck was all over the place while driving where then I had to take a longer route just to be safe which meant, more money to uhaul while my safety was at risk. I’m going to file a formal complaint.
