Very disappointed with my recent U-Haul rental experience. I specifically rented and paid for an appliance dolly, but when I picked up the truck, the dolly was not inside. Because of U-Haul’s mistake, I had to spend additional time driving around, searching for a replacement, and ultimately purchasing an appliance dolly myself just to complete my job. This caused significant delays, wasted valuable work time, and created unnecessary stress. To make matters worse, because of the extra time spent dealing with a problem that was not my fault, I ended up being charged a much higher rental amount than I originally expected. I also noticed charges that appear to cover multiple rental periods, and the final bill was difficult to understand. Paying for equipment that was never provided and then being charged additional fees as a result of that mistake is unacceptable. I expect U-Haul to take responsibility for this situation and review these charges
