I probably rented over 100 U-Haul's in New York City over the past 20 years and this particular truck was by far one of the worst pieces of equipment I've ever been inside of. Borderline drivable and unsafe, but I had a job to do in a schedule to stick to the brakes went to the floor and barely worked both mirrors flopped around uncontrollably lots of loud mechanical sounds driving and the rear door was extremely difficult to open and close. Additionally to this just filthy everywhere over 100,000 miles on this truck it borders on criminal to rent this to people otherwise usually happy with U-Haul take this truck off the road
