I appreciate the discount offered for returning the rental to a location 25 miles for my house in Gastonia but I was puzzled as to why this location was so important as it was a run-down building, a very tight lot in very poor condition. It could be all the rental housing around that dives frequent rentals. The lot was not a good reflection on U-Haul (apologies for processing visually first— it is how humans work) but the attendant was very pleasant. the pick-up location on Sinclair Road in Columbus Ohio is a much better impression: large, feels important, conveys volume and value, impressive attached multi-story secure storage facility— and all-in-one relocation and moving center. The Auto Spa is a tiny detailing center and not marked for U-Haul by other means than trucks.

Austin TThe pick up location was not manned and I opted for a mobile pick up. The truck I reserved was dirty and the dolly and moving blankets I reserved were not in the truck. When I finally got the code to retrieve the key for the truck, the lock box had the wrong key inside. Uhaul customer service was helpful and attempted to help me locate the key for my truck. Unfortunately the key for the truck I reserved was not in any of the lock boxes. I had to change to a smaller truck which cost me moving time and more in gas. I was still charged the same amount for my rental. This location is clearly operated by some low IQ idiot that is not intelligent enough to understand basic customer service.
