There was no personnel there at the drop off location, so we called U-Haul to let them know that we were dropping it off. We also took pictures of the trailer where we left it. And, I dropped it off a day earlier than originally planned.
SANDRA DIf it could go wrong this move, it did. I rented a 17 foot truck a block from my house. Instead I got a 15 foot truck at a location a mile away from the apt I was moving from. At .99 cents a mile that seemed a bit unfair. Back to the smaller truck - I could’ve made less trips to my new home had I received what I ordered. The truck I picked up was old, harder than most to drive and the tow / haul setting came on every time it was driven, just randomly. The entire experience will make me rethink using UHaul next time. And there will be a next time. Penske will be my first call 🤷🏻♀️
Christina HThe instructions to find the lock box were very confusing; it should be specified that the lock box is located on the side of the security trailer sitting right outside the door of the business. Other than that, everything went well, and the business owner is good to work with.
