User experience was very frustrating. took way too long, and redundant from what I did online. PLUS, i was told expense would be $22.95 initially. adding is understandable, but the $2.00 should have been a part of the initial expense I was told at the beginning. The online app gave me issues, on pickup and drop off. On pickup it took a very long time to get it started, waiting for an agent. On drop off the rental wasn't on my app. I had to call and again, long wait times.Mitchell S.
Close the location on 3120 N. Nevada...the service is horrible and requirement s like 2 reference calls is ridiculous and drive me to cancel my reservation there after standing in line for 45 mins and finding the calling references ridiculous. I picked up the van during off-hours. The process was not as simple as it is marketed to be. Many of those steps can be done in advance and verified ahead of time. I had no idea I would have to go through so many steps and have to wait between each step for someone to verify the information or, that they would call someone to verify that I am who I say I am. Worse on-line check in process ever. After entering all information twice I get a message that the website was â€œdown for maintenanceâ€. After calling the 800 number and being on hold for 15 minutes the response was that my Phone was the problem. Beyond frustrating.Daniel O.
Pricing is misleading. This is a corporate issue, not a local franchise level. Says one price on the side of the truck, that is never even applicable to the final amount charged. Uhaul should not be advertising a flat rate if everything is charged by mile! Or sending emails with a quoted price, if the price is only determined by mileage. Easy to schedule. Delivery in Oregon was poor; rescheduled when they failed to deliver. Picked up on time. This was a true cluster. I will use a different company next time.
