Double charged $29.95 rental fee and told the insurance for the truck was $14 but charged $28??? We prearranged to rent the truck as early as possible, because the internet site pickup times was not working and only offer midnight to 3.30am as options. BecUse of the distance between our home and our destination and the crazy Denver traffic we knew we would be tight on time. We arrived at 9am to office which was unoccupied and locked and at 9.35 finally got on the road. Very old and underpowered truck, dirty inside and given the engine performance, , and specially uphill possibly in need of a service or retirement. We rented it from 9-4 and said that with cross Denver traffic ConiferCO to Bailey CO to Aurora CO to Conifer CO that having to use major highways would have significant traffic to deal with. Office called to say that the truck was rented by another client at 4.10 and we would have to return on time- putting ADDITIONAL pressure on us. Denver traffic is notoriously bad and all three major highways we used to minimize travel distance at $.79 per mile were very heavily trafficked. We arrived 14 minutes after estimated return time, including refueling otherwise would have been prior to 4pm. We communicated our situation, ahead of return time to the office staff who were unhelpful, were stressing about the next rental and offered no understanding. When we returned the truck no discussion of costs, additional fees or even total amount of rental was offered, as the next client was waiting- we were dismissed and told an email was sent and the staff ignored us and went straight on to the next people. The staff then went to check mileage and meanwhile we spoke with next renters whom we offered our apologies for being 14 minutes late, they understood and had no issues whatsoever understanding poor city traffic conditions. Being ignored by the office staff and pressured to return a truck, because they had left only a 10 minute window between rentals is very poor. He took half that time to do his return truck inspection and check the mileage, and appeared to add that time to our rental? We made it clear they knew our destination, so being double charged two lots of fees, extra miles and having the traffic conditions dismissed left us very disappointed. Having paid full price, twice over and having a very old, under powered truck to service our mountain home at 8500 feet, being told that we must rush because the office left on just 10 minutes between rentals was very poor customer service. The truck was returned cleaner than when we got it, refueled as instructed and we were left feeling ignored, pressured and very poorly treated. We would not use this location again. We are loyal U-Haul customers, not frequent movers but loyal nevertheless. Please have extra fees refunded and seek new location or provide better training to location staff. 10 minutes between rentals is not sufficient time to complete post rental checks and ensure

Not sure if you're new to this business, or what. You should consider actually helping your customers locate, hook up and check out the equipment, versus handing them paperwork and telling them, "It's out front". Probably the worst service from a U-Haul provider we've seen, to date.

Attendant didn't seem at all concerned about inspecting the truck prior to our leaving; had to be convinced to come down for the inspection.

The guy was nice but it is really hard to navigate on the small narrow uneaven porley maintained Lott. The steps going to the office are down right dangerous and are going to end up putting someone in the hospitable. The frayed strap broke on the highway and I had to buy another tow strap to rig it safely (as safe as I could rig it) for the remaining 475 miles of the trip the one way move. Once again the gentleman that was working there was really friendly.

Not much to improve upon locations equipment was in good shape and the staff was as good as it gets . If I need a trailer again this will be my first call despite a Uhaul location closer in Bailey the few extra miles is worth it .

Have more stock available at your other locations (Moore Lumber in Bailey) had no trailers on their lot! Had to drive 30 miles out of my way to find a trailer that would work. That location only had one (oversized) trailer on their lot, so we had to spend more than necessary for the job we had. Not really happy about it.

All else was good, but i was charged for the cleaning fee although i returned the truck clean and tony had inspected and agreed. Called Tony several times to get the $25 fee back. Tony said he'd call U-Haul and get the refund, but it never happened so i eventually (after waiting 2 months) had to dispute the charge with Visa to get the credit.

No sign indicating "U Haul" at the express lube location. Went inside to ask where to drop it off, and was told to go outside, around side of building, and climb stairs to shop above. That shop was not UHaul either. It's a sporting goods outfitter, and it was closed (3:45PM). Went back to the express lube desk and asked if there was a key drop. Nope. Said to look for a black pick up truck next door at the car wash and ask for Tony. Finally found Tony who was polite and took care of it right away. But what a hassle.

They promised a price of $19.99 then charged us $29.99 for a larger truck which we did not need saying there was a promotion and the extra $10 would be credited to us. It never was and I have contacted the owner multiple times and he still has not followed through. Very disappointed and will make sure all my acquaintances know.

although this person was helpful in securing my vehicle compared to the Bailey location the absolutely and belligerently refused to help me WHATSOEVER in securing my car, and who told me to go find a car mechanic to do it, and the old lady said they did not help people and that "she was out of here" after starting a fight with me, he still did not secure the chains on the car and I drove all the way to Grand Junction endangering my car because even though he in Conifer was willing to help me get the car tied down, hw as still so incompetent that he did not secure the chains holding down my vehicle. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN AND AM REPORTING ALL THIS TO THE INTERNET IN ORDER TO PROTECT OTHERS FROM LOSING THIER CARS as the UHAUL people will not help or do not know that much about helping. I'm sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UHAUL should be required by LAW to help you get set up so that there is no liability if the car falls off!!! SOMEONE COULD GET KILLED!!! But that doesn't matter! YOU DON'T HAVE TO HELP!!!!!
