I hate u-haul . The price is dumb and they cheat you out your money . The people who work their are nice it’s not their fault their doing their jobs but the company is low down they just adding stuff to tax you for . The website to check it in when you’re done doesn’t work . Back In the day you just drop the keys off , gas it up , sweep . Bam money back they do anything now to charge you more and employees do less.

BRIAN SPerfect service, clear communication of costs, and easy pick up and drop off. My go-to for truck rentals.
MICHAEL PI used to believe that UHaul was one of those businesses you never questioned, doubted, or worried about to provide a reliable product and service. This rental experience has changed my mind about them. First, I was contact about my initial reservation because the initial puck-up location was not going to have a cargo van available on the day I requested to pick one up. Had to push back my plans by two weeks and go to a different location altogether to get it. Second, the van I was given should NEVER have been rented out. The windshield had a large crack running along the bottom almost the entire width and the "Oil Change Required" light was on the entire trip. Third, and this is a design issue with the van manufacturer (Dodge/Ram), not UHaul. There are no controls for the radio or AC unit on the steering wheel; which wouldn't have been so bad if the vertical gear shifter wasn't located immediately next to the steering wheel, preventing easy access to radio dials or temperature controls. I almost knocked the van out of gear on several occasions. Hopefully I won't need to rent another cargo van in the future, but if I do, not sure I would choose U-Haul again.
