Serious improvements on customer service noted since last time I have dealt with this location (Aug 2017).

Make the area where the new and available trucks are ready to use and rent move obvious!

Truck needs to be retired. Steering is really loose, to the point of being dangerous. The overhead door only minimally works. None of my volunteers could open or close it, so I had to throughout the 3 days, which cost me a lot of time and wasted effort. Also, got charged for gas that I don't believe was correct. I followed your diagram, yet was told that it was more than 1/16 off, so he had to charge me or I had to go back and get gas.

Hard to drop off. Random trucks scattered over lot. Can't see how or where to leave truck.

I believe that in recent years a new manager has taken over and since that time the yard has become clean, the equipment is parked neatly, the hired help has been better trained with a service attitude. It is a busy place with rentals and returns, so sometimes there is a wait, but never ignored as before. Thumbs up for this agent.

Gas gauge was lower than 3/4 of a tank when I got it. Drove it 4 miles, was charged $7 for gas. Would not recommend to a friend because of that.

I was told if I returned trailer by midnight I would be charged for one day. I got charged for two days. Not cool. The gentleman that helped me when I picked the trailer up was awesome, however. When I called (a few times) to discuss the charge I got switched to answering service (corporate?) which was a complete waste of my time.

1. The cab of the truck was roomy enough for myself and two children, but my 6 yr. old sat in the middle and the buckle was a bear to try and get buckled with a booster seat. The belt was never tight and sat flat across her lap and not against her hips making for an unsafe trip no matter how hard we tried to get it right. 2. the drivers side window did not roll up properly and made a LOUD whistling sound the ENTIRE trip. ADVISE: replacing door/window seals. 3. We lost our U Haul key, I thought we had locked it in the back of the truck, so we drove back to U Haul in our car, 5 minutes away and they didn't have extra keys. This seems kind of silly. We were told to call road side assistance and after 15 minutes and 3 tries calling and using different extensions, the phone tree is FOOKING EXHAUSTING to get through, we talked to a person and finally got it handled. 4. The play in the steering wheel was pretty sloppy and made for exciting driving on poured sectional concrete roads. 5. I liked that it had arm rests and the seat was adequately comfortable for out 360 mile trip. 6. Scheduling, pick up and drop off were a breeze. The location of the U Haul was very convenient and the staff was extremely helpful when I needed to contact roadside assistance.

Well, when I was originally told where to pick up the trailer it was about 15 miles from my house. I called to confirm like I was asked to and the guy said I could pick it up anytime between 8 and 5. I go to the original location I was told to go to only to find out that it was changed to a different location that morning. Instead of calling me you emailed me (at around the same time I was called originally). The excuse I was given was that it was too early to call. That’s crap. You called me the day before around the same time. Now it’s too early? I was expecting a call if there were changes. So then I had to drive 15-20 miles to the location much closer to my house. This was absolutely rediculous and horrible customer service. I’m ver disappointed in U-Haul.
