Check-in was easy. Busy Saturday morning so the line was a bit long for adequate social distancing but store procedures were well thought out.

There was a little confusion about, my rental but I was renting at the last minute and it is a busy time. I was switched from one location to another and had two rentals taken from me while I was in the middle of renting them, but eventually I did get the vehicle I needed.
My daughter and I picked a truck up at 2:36 PM on Thursday we returned the vehicle at 6:22 PM on the same Thursday. We had the vehicle for less than 4 hours and were charged for 2 days rental. The young man who checked the vehicle in said there was nothing he could do and we should call the manager the next day. I called the next morning and was on hold for approximately half an hour. Once I spoke with someone they agreed that the charges were incorrect and said they would transfer me to someone who could fix the error. The call was "disconnected" during the transfer. The number I was given in case of accidental disconnect got me to the same hold message I was originally on.
The employee was very helpful and courteous and answered all my questions!
Never received pictures of damage/truck condition at time of rental. Never received contract in email. Drivers seat belt half the time would not latch and required continual fiddling to get it together. Front end of truck wandered and rattled. Most likely mechanical damage/lack of maintenance.
The passenger side front tire leaked. I noticed this 2 hours after I had picked up the trailer, and intended to report it through the Uhaul pre-inspection link, but the link had already expired. I tried calling roadside assistance and after a long wait, I finally had to hang up to get started on my move.
The truck was perfect for my needs! Just the right size and it was powerful enough to negotiate the low mountain passes in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon. The only thing I noticed was that the outside of the truck was filthy when I picked it up and I had to scrub off dried on bugs off the windshield in order to see. Obviously, this truck was returned and placed back on the lot without a stitch of physical maintenance.
I arrived at 8:30 am as scheduled, but spent 30 minutes using the mobile app. Never again! The staff was friendly and did a great job.

Starting off the truck was completely filthy backed up against a power Pole in the parking lot half way to my destination air conditioning kicked off no breaks coasted 30 miles per hour to my destination luckily I didn't die with 2 kids How do you use a emergency brake to stop the vehicle then after I spoke with you haul they said if they can't find anything on the computer they were going to charge me towing fees super not cool experience
Possibly take money off the total if they bring the truck back with more fuel then they got it with

I had originally scheduled a pick up for grants pass, then two days before pick up I was informed they don't have any trucks available and I would need to pick up in a town 20 min away. One day before pick up I see that they did not leave a truck for me (I was supposed to use the 24/7 app and get it before it opened) so I needed to pick up a truck from another location 40 min away from my home. I tried calling customer service but they will not speak with me because my name is somehow not on the contract even though I made the arrangements and had myself listed as a driver (they would only speak to my boyfriend who was listed as a driver)
1. The rear loading door has a broken sensor that was constantly alerting me to "door ajar" and then going silent for a bit, then alerting again. This would be terrible for a long distance move. 2. The no contact pick up was not easy. The location barcode was tiny, but there was another irrelevant large barcode on the door. There should be a large sign pointing to the location barcode. 3. When I clicked the link for pick up that was sent to me via text message, it navigated to a page that had no button to "start pick up" instead I had to go inside where the worker told me the link. It didn't match any links I was sent via email or text message. 4. After you scan the barcode and do some other steps, the app prompts with "additional ID verification" is needed and gives some options: alternate contact, passport, and two others. To me this means I should give another form of ID or have brought my passport. Instead the worker told me I just need to input someone else's phone number at this step. That could have happened during the online registration, or this prompt should be made more clear, for example, "Provide additional/alternate contact number." 5. The worker there sat in a vehicle watching me fumble for 5-10 minutes before offering to help me.
