I reserved a furniture dolly weeks in advance. They called me the night before to tell me that they didn’t have one available, and they had no alternative for me. Their excuse was that they were not technically a U-Haul location so they don’t have all the equipment that a u-haul has, yet I did not know that as all of the correspondence and website that I booked the truck and equipment from was branded with U-Haul. Then why ask if I wanted to add this equipment to my reservation? And then let 2 weeks go by without letting me know that the equipment wouldn’t be available???? The day of, there was no clear instructions on how to pick up my truck up. There was no email the night before explaining the process. It was very confusing and frustrating. The truck had a very low tire air pressure, and I was driving on the freeway with very fragile equipment. Overall, my experience was very poor. I would not use this location again. I would just opt for a true U-Haul location.
