Sadly, the management here is unprofessional and tarnishes the name of Uhaul. The overall feeling is that the customer is a nuisance. I showed up for my reservation and no one was to be found. I had to call for management to help me with my reservation. The lady told me I didn’t have a reservation. And she was not interested in looking at the app or my email. And when I tried to talk to her about it, she told me she wasn’t interested in arguing with me. The communication was just so bad. She didn’t give me any return instructions. She clearly did not want to speak to me or be at the Uhaul location that day at all. A couple of hours after I dropped off the unit I had to return to the location to go through the return process. Which I learned not from her, but through the app. It was dark outside, and I was alone. I felt very unsafe. And sadly, I had returned it hours earlier during the day. I only had the rental about 90 minutes. This owner does not need to be associated with Uhaul.
Norma WIts hard to find. Better street signage is needed. Also, thr attendant is not on site. It is a non-traditional space. Customers need to know her contact info and know to contact her 30 minutes prior to arriving. The space is very small with roads that are not smooth back behind several businesses and small to run around.
Eli WTruck and uhaul customer service line were great. When making the reservation online, I selected counter pickup. Once we arrived there was not an office or counter available; no associate to help out. The phone number posted was not helpful, no one answered. Customer service was extremely helpful, thanks to them we were able to have it switched to mobile pick up. If you are picking up from this location make sure it is mobile pickup to avoid the hassle.
Graciela PThe process is very long once we get there. It would have been much easier at the lot if my dad and I were texted as soon as I reserved the truck to start the selfie and driver's license process. That way once we got there we could have just inspected the vehicle and left. My dad also had a problem taking his selfie. He took one, then suddenly he had a notice that his camera was blocked. We went through the settings on the URL to unblock the camera, but it still wouldn't work. There was also a chip in the windshield that was noticed after we started leaving. I took a picture of it on my phone in case we got blamed for that.
