Janell ARented online. Got on site and realized the trailer I rented was not ideal. I ended up with an in-town motorcycle trailer. Poo happens. What I was impressed with was the Nanaimo location whose staff allowed me to park the trailer in their compound for the night, so I could get it back to Duncan in the morning, and avoid the extra charge. They get 5 Stars for being helpful.
Timothy TMy experience with U-Haul Moving & Storage of Duncan was unacceptable. I left feeling completely taken advantage of as a paying customer and was extremely disappointed by how my concerns were handled. Trust and customer service matter, and this location failed on both counts. Rather than working toward a fair resolution, I was left frustrated, angry, and with no confidence in the company. As a result, I will never use U-Haul again, nor will I recommend them to friends, family, or colleagues. I will be sharing my experience with others so they can make an informed decision before choosing this company. Extremely disappointing from start to finish.
