The gentleman at this location was very kind and helped us through the check in process when the app was being slow for us. I have nothing bad to say about this location or the man running it. The location on 1500 International in Spartanburg on the other hand was incredibly unhelpful and gave us the run around the day of our move. Even though they had trucks available in the size we had requested and they moved our reservation to a location that was closed they still wouldn't let us rent one of their trucks and made us drive an extra 20 minutes out of our way just to get the truck we needed.
Samantha BMy U-Haul experience was TERRIBLE! I had a Reservation # 26407823, for Kush Food Mart in Wellford, SC. I got there and there was NO TRAILER! I asked the guy working and he was no help. He was like "we don't have a trailer", and "we sold it long time ago", etc. No, "I'm sorry", or "let me help you find another", nothing, no help, just "we don't have a trailer." WTH? Keep in mind I drove from OH to SC, so I REALLY HAD to have a trailer. I had to call around, try to find a trailer. Talk about stressful! I drove to one dealer and there was no one around. I found a guy next door, and he said something about the guy left for a doctor's appt, no idea when he would be back... So, I had to drive to yet another dealer (my third) and there I FINALLY got a trailer. My god, what was the point of taking my reservation???
EDWARD PI’ve used this location many times for a reason, excellent service and a friendly staff that always makes the business transition painless. I highly recommend using this UHaul location.
