I would suggest customers remain there until the attendant takes the mileage and acknowledges it in front of you and charges you accordingly . I was asked approximately how many kilometres I would use and I really didn’t know and said definitely less than 80.. I returned the vehicle with much less than 80 km but the attendant didn’t mark the mileage and only showed it as mileage out so I was charged the full $80 without him checking the odometer in front of me.. rather than the attendant going out to record the mileage and charge me accordingly at $.99 a kilometre I was charged the full 80 km because the attendant failed to mark down the kilometres when it was brought back and it wasn’t shown in the paperwork. I even asked about the kilometres and if it would be adjusted because I told him it was less than 80 km and he said.. when I receive my emailed invoice statement from U-Haul. I saw that I was charged the full 80 km.. the attendant failed to record the kilometres properly and overcharged me.

No improvement! Friendly staff and very helpful
RICCARDO GConcerned that a Debit card could not be used. I had ordered a van but when I went to pick it up my debit card was not accepted and cash was not accepted. The young man who served me was very helpful in trying to find an available vehicle that would allow me to pay cash. Why would a debit card from a major bank (BMO) not be accepted?
