I am waiting for the amount that was overpaid on my credit card to be credited back to my account. When I was asked for an estimate of the distance I would drive, that amount was charged to my credit card. Upon returning the vehicle, the actual distance was lower than the estimate but the credit card was still charged the original amount. UHaul took a favourable position that makes their customers wait and work for their confiscated money. The transaction should reconcile the actual distance at time of close out and return. UHaul likely benefits unfairly from this lopsided arrangement.
