Truck had garbage from previous renters in the cab, truck had barely any fuel and ran out before I got to a gas station making me walk to nearest fuel station get a gas can/fuel in -25°c weather and having to put in more fuel then used ($50) and never got reimbursed even when presented the receipt. Did not have my furniture dollys as requested and booked in advance. Over priced, and different from quote given online especially with mileage cost. I was quoted 1.29 but had to pay 2.07 for mileage driven ontop of fueling up before and after using uhaul. Paid a total of $180 with rental/fuel/coverage for a quote given at $69.25 with the $1.29 mileage use.

Varghese PThis was my worst experience using U-Haul services. First, I drove approximately 71 km, yet I was charged for almost 100 km. There was a complete lack of transparency from the beginning to the end of the transaction. When I picked up the truck, I was not informed of the starting mileage, and unfortunately, I did not take a photo of the odometer. I only took the picture of the fuel gauge. Second, when returning the truck, I stopped at a gas station to refuel but was unable to open the fuel tank lid. I asked for assistance at the station, but no one was able to help. When I arrived at the U-Haul location, it was already closed, so I parked the truck and returned the next day. I explained the situation to the attendant, who attempted to open the fuel lid herself but was unsuccessful. She then advised us to contact a mechanic and assured us that someone would come within a few hours. However, no mechanic came that day or the following day. The next day, I received a call from the attendant informing me that the fuel lid had finally been opened and that I should come back to refuel the truck, which I did. Despite all this, I was still charged for significantly more kilometers than I actually drove. I can provide the pickup and drop-off addresses for verification if needed. If this issue is not resolved, I intend to share my experience on social media to raise awareness about the lack of transparency and poor service I encountered.
Wasiu RThey did not have the size I ordered, 10ft. Due to this, I had to make 3 trips from the north to south side of the city, causing incredible stress to meet the time deadlines placed, as well as caused the cost to skyrocket. I cost i was not prepared for and will now affect me the rest of the month. I am very disappointed in the whole experience and will not likely use uhaul again.
