Mohamoud MOne front light on the uhaul vehicle was out, there were cigarettes and old fries under the chairs. There was a lock on the back of the uhaul that we were not given the code for so I had to call uhaul help line and it wasted over 30 minutes of our time. The location is somewhat convenient but overall was a bit stressful getting the vehicle, losing time, not being able to open the lock, and having cigarette butts on the floor.
Jerika CEnsure lights on the truck are operational (reverse light, one brake light and two marker lights were burnt out) cigarettes are at least swept out of the cab (was offered a air freshener for the smell), mud and trash from previous renter are cleaned out. Store owner was 20min late to opening the store, and fuel tank was 1/16th when I got in (according to the rental contract anything below 1/4 tank incur a 30$ fuel charge +2.80$ per litre). Upon returning, store attendant made me get a photo of mileage and gas level. Didn’t check on the condition of the truck. Gave me a hard time about fuel level. I drove <10miles and put 25$ (15litres of fuel in), brought the fuel level up to 3/16th, but was still questioned why I brought it back with less than 1/4 tank.
