The man in the store could really use some work in the customer service department. The check out process should have been explained more when receiving the truck to cut down on the time it took to return the truck.

The Scanning and closing out the rental sucked. I would have liked it better if I could have returned to a person.
KEVIN AThe app doesn't work and there are no people around. I wasted 45 minutes getting the truck. I had to call UHaul 4 times that day, including to check the truck in at the end of the day, since the app never checked the truck out. I was charged twice for the use of one 2-wheel dolly. The whole experience was terrible. UHaul has replaced people with apps that don't function properly. I'll go to a local truck rental shop, that has people working there, next time.
Anthony MNot the best customer service at this location and an extremely long process to get the contract set up. It took 40 minutes because the system was so slow.
ERICH SWell for starters clear consise Inatructions works, the after hours pick up took over two hours before someone pointed me in the right direction. Also rude text messages telling me I cannot request an extention to continue using the equipment I rented. That was uncalled for, then back to by the numbers return of the truck had me out of my mind and then caused me to lock the key in the vehicle. So I thought I was done, assumed there was a spare key, I was not even 3/4 of a mile away when the on-site representative called me to tell me about locking the key in the truck, I explained to him that I returned the truck as instructed by the app, to which he replied with " you are not using common sense" and proceeded to tell me that it was now my responsibility to get the truck unlocked to retrieve the key. Then there is this receipt that shows that I didn't return the truck until after 5:30 pm which is absurd, yes I was late but not that late l replaced more fuel than what was there when I checked out. When I was refueling the unit there was a bottle neck 9f customers and only o e cashier, and I did my due diligence by making sure the unit was as clean as when I picked it up. So now after looking at the receipt I see that the gentleman who made me provide uhaul lockout service had gone back into the order to amend the drop off time causing additional charges to me, as well as the 51 dollars i had to spend to break in to the unit to retrieve a key. Who at uhaul is going to compensate me for providing locksmith services, how will I recoup not just the additional charges, but also the expenditure for equipment to perform locksmith services. I do believe that those services run close to 3 to 4 hundred dollars for lockout services. And to whom do i send an invoice for my services... I had need to extend the rental as I was not finished with my tasks for the day but now with the added costs and expenses I will not be able to. I would have to say that this was nothing but a shit show today and I am the one holding the bag. How am I to move the large peices that I rented the truck for in the first place.
