Have the equipment checked out and ready to go. Recommend appropriate equipment. Have guaranteed rental equipment at the pickup location. The owner needs to focus on the customer instead of making them wait 90 minutes while he negotiates an unrelated business deal. He told us the truck had 1/2 tank of gas. It had 1/4. The truck was filthy and smelled like cigarettes. The box bed was even dirtier. The appliance dolly we reserved was unavailable as well and we were told we'd have to go to another Uhaul to get one so we just got a regular dolly instead. We were given a tow dolly for my car, which is all wheel drive and had to go to another Uhaul to get a trailer. The plug for the trailer lights had a short in it. The truck needs an alignment because it drifts to the left badly. Then to top it all off we couldn't go faster than 50 MPH because the truck was not big enough or heavy enough to be loaded and pull the car on the trailer. We had to take a longer route to avoid the mountains and stop 2 nights at a hotel, 2 rooms per night, when we had planned on driving straight thru, because the driver was exhausted from fighting the truck. And all the running to different Uhaul places in the beginning cost a lot of extra miles as did avoiding the mountains.

I had made the reservation went to pickup the auto transport and was told i was lucky they where leaving at 1 . Was told which unit to use and i had to wait for the mechanic to unlock it. Then i had to connect and hook up the unit my self. Oh by the way im a 58 old disabled senior citizen. And returning it it was the same episode Was told put it where i got it.Will not EVER USE FOX'S LOCATION AGAIN IF YOU WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
