Trucks were parked on a hill and very hard to take pictures as well as get an accurate read of the gas level due to the incline of the hill. It had just around 3/4 of a tank of gas when I pick it up and drove 32 miles, I put in more gas then it had and I am still being charged $28 for the fuel. Not fair to the customers. also the website for checking it out sucks. Had to call customer service to have they try to help walk me thru it. Spent over an hour just trying to check out the truck. Asked the employee that was there at the pick up place and he said he couldn't help me and that he needed a code in order for him to give me the key to the truck. He didn't even tell me which truck it was.

Van NPoint of contact was ok, but largely unhelpful. The location seemed to be in a cellphone dead zone so checking in was difficult. Not necessarily uhauls fault, but something to make note of in case someone doesn’t realize they can check in early, as I did.
William MThis is a gas station, poorly kept up and people loitering around. I told u haul that I wanted to check in at the counter on the web site, but when I went there was no counter to check in. It took me 1 1/2 to check in online. When I returned it, the manager told me there was nothing else for me to do, so I left, BIG mistake. Do not leave until they check you out. I got the receipt hours later and they charged me a cleaning fee. I used my high speed lawn blower in the back and it was clean when I dropped it off. When I requested proof for the charge, they sent me a picture of a tiny area of dust, no time stamp, no license plate, just the dust. The gas station is using the cleaning fee to generate income. Just another scam. If this has happened to you, call your credit card company, they can help you, don't let them get away with this.
GARY SSo I brought the U-Haul back to Federal Way. The whole truck was cleaned out. There was nothing wrong and I even filled the gas tank over the amount that it should’ve been. This man charged me almost $30 for a cleaning fee. He said he had to sweep the back and it looks so little like the dirt came off his shoe and I’m being charged for this bullshit. This is not fair and I want to file a complaint. This seems like a scam to me straight bullshit.
