How U-Haul Reviews WorkPicking up the truck was a hassle. I made a reservation online, and when I got there, I had to handle it over the phone with someone I couldn’t hear very well, who tried to charge me extra fees. He hung up without giving me a price estimate. In the end, when I made the reservation, I had agreed to a price of $400, but I ended up paying $608. A $50 cleaning fee was added without my knowledge for a truck that wasn’t particularly dirty. I’m going to have to file a complaint because there’s also a discrepancy between the receipt I received and the amount that was charged to my account. The truck was old; the passenger-side window wouldn’t open, the engine was extremely loud, and the cargo area wouldn’t lock. I’m not at all happy with my experience; I regret this choice, which ended up costing me a lot for a 7-hour move.
adrien pNo one at the location. I had to do everything myself and the geolocation was not picking up my location so it took an hour to return the rental. This self service system is poor and a bad management decision. This was my first rental and my last . The entire customer experience was stressfull and I resent the fact that there is no personal and we have to do everybody’s job

Tom MNot charging an extra day when you're going to get the trailer the night before your reservation AND it's less than 30 minutes before office 's closing !! It's ridiculous to charge when the day is almost at the end...
