The key was in the wrong combo box, so I couldn’t get the truck for over an hour (when U-haul called). I reserved an appliance dolly and a furniture dolly and I got two furniture dolly’s instead. I didn’t need two furniture dolly’s, but got charged for them both.
Sharon HCounter staff at store knew less than nothing when I couldn’t complete online payment process. Then she said the keys were in the box outside - nope, no keys, asked her again and she pulled out 2 u-haul keys from behind the bottles of booze on the shelf behind her counter and had us figure out which ones worked in our truck. This ordeal took us 40 minutes past our pickup time! Never again. Although, I do have to say the 3 different individuals at UHaul I had phone calls with were helpful, but couldn’t explain these problems.
Mary ZThe truck had less than a quarter tank of gas. An improvement would be to have trucks with a full tank of gas so we can just fill it when returning it. I ended up giving you about $20 worth of gas for free.
KAREN GPoor service and customer support, took an hour to find the keys with no help from uhaul. The truck was old no usb charging ports and no navigation. While on the freeway the steering gave a wierd feeling of going hay wire.
