I reserved a 10' truck for a Sunday knowing it would be a online pickup. The uhaul app was not working. 3 calls for human help, the first 2 disconnected just as we got to the problem. The 3rd support person got us all the way to the key lock box. The box would not open all the way, the plastic on the key was blocking the door. After a lot of wiggling, tugging, pushing, and pulling it finally gave way. The support person was still on the line and got us through the rest of the pick up. It took an hour but u haul gave us that hour on the return time. Being able to do this online is great for after hours rental. The app needs some work, but the support we got was excellent.

Monica SMake it easier for after hours pick up And for women alone at 10pm Super sketchy and scary I walked the huge yard several times looking for my truck You guys could have told me it was parked up front by itself You have a legends but there are no actual Numbers or diagrams in the yard Even finding the key box was a challenge Worst uhaul experience Grateful for after hours options but this was horrible
SUSAN SDrove nearly 400 miles and hopped on a ferry only to find out the 26 foot truck I had reserved was unavailable and they only had a 20 foot truck. Needing more room, I had to get on yet another ferry and go to a different island to pick up a trailer. All said and done, 7 hours round trip and over $500 in additional expenses. The weekend was supposed to be one day of packing, and then spending the rest of the time with family before saying our farewells. Instead, the entire time was spent scrambling to fix the issue so we would not miss our reservation to leave the island.
