Inside of truck was very dirty. It had not been swept out by previous renter. Also, truck's air conditioning did not work and this was a definite problem due to a 2 1/2 hour drive one way and 2 1/2 hour drive back in 95 degree Texas weather.

The employees were nice, but the owner was a complete jerk. I had reserved a dolly, and there was one there. The owner refused to let me have it because he said he needed it for "his customers" the next day. After a lot of back and forth the employees helped me out when the owner refused to.

JOHN SThe man working there has absolutely NO personality Period!! Have no clue why he even works with the public! No welcome greeting, no Hi, no Thank you at all!! Just a what’s your name, what’s your email, are we using card ending in **** You will get an estimated receipt of blah blah the break down is and here’s the key. I left something in the vehicle called ahead so he could be informed. Message was sent to him. I asked when I returned back up to the location, did he get the message or retrieve my items I forgot in the vehicle? He told me “Nope haven’t checked for any messages. You can go look in the vehicle yourself for what you forgot, the door is unlocked” He didn’t budge from the chair! I felt like ok he’s got my money now, the transaction is done and could give a rat’s patootie regarding anything else!! I couldn’t believe my eyes or ears as he yawned saying he’s tired! WTH?! Wow. I’m a manager on my job and also has been on a few previous jobs in the past and Customer Service should be top priority but I have NEVER! This totally left a really bad taste in my mouth!! I’ve been using Uhaul for years!! And just a few months or so ago (different location) and never experienced this!!
MICHELLE WWhen we arrived, our truck wasn’t even there. They said it wasn’t even in the system or available to rent so they weren’t sure why it was even assigned to us… after an hour waiting on the phone and in the parking lot we finally were approached by a guy, he couldn’t help us either. Said we’d need to “wait around” to see if a truck came available. Well we were on a time crunch due to furniture being delivered to our new home and moving help which due to the delay of the truck, my husband and I didn’t get help moving so we spend 15 hours moving by ourselves with a toddler not to mention I’m pregnant all because of the two hour delay for our truck being nonexistent. Finally after being on hold, we were assigned a new truck. So we had to go back to the location and have the guy that was there do all of that through the system. We will never use U-Haul again. We’ve always used budget and will continue to from here on out.
