Let me start off by saying I went to the wrong haul site.( Gloversville) My husband had reserved a open trailer U- haul for me at another site. ( Johnstown) Upon arriving to the u- haul rental in Gloversville, there were no open trailers just to enclose trailers. As I was getting ready to leave the area, the attendant Tony said, let me check and make sure that that reservation is there. After going onto his phone verifying the name with me, he said he could not find the reservation. Then Tony said, let me check for you, to make sure it's there. He said there is an open trailer there, but the coupler is broken and it would take an hour. The other U- haul rental was in Johnstown, which was a couple miles away. We were pressed for time as the person that was helping with the move had to go to work in a few hours. I even asked the question you can see other u-haul reservations? His response was, yes. So Tony checked with the manager and confirmed that they would give me the enclosed trailer for the same price as an open trailer. Okay no problem. I went on my way.... However, my husband contacted the person at the Johnstown at the U- haul and they said, their open trailer coupler was not broken....and told me. I returned the the U- haul enclosed trailer back to the Gloversville office at approximately 3:30 and was going to go speak with Tony about what happened earlier, only to find out that everyone left the office at 3. Prior to returning the trailer back to Gloversville, I stopped at the Johnstown office, u-haul and spoke with the worker there, and he told me no one called him from the Gloversville, u- hall to verify the condition of his trailer. He said his trailer coupler was not broken and he also said that they would not know what his inventory was unless they called and personally talked to him, which they did not.... So based on this, I will not use the Gloversville. u- haul again or recommend this site.

Try adding break fluid to the breaks and giving it an alignment, AT LEAST

JOSEPH MSand the parking lot !!!! it was very slippery and was a layer of ice covered in snow , a fall waiting to happen. The u haul rep was very freindly and helpful.
JEFFREY AThe Pick up process with the App was not easy and not straight forward as the service in this location is not ideal. The Truck interior was not back how ever the tiers were practically bald - Given that the rental pick up was on 2/10 and there was a chance of snow. I was able to get the truck Unstuck but we were stuck in a parking lot that had a layer of snow due to no traction.
