To whom it may concern We are just returning this trailer to the Golden location. This is my first opportunity to email you regarding this rental. Months ago I reserved a trailer through the Radium Hot Spring outlet. At that time I had expressed to them the importance of picking up the trailer in Radium and dropping it off there as well, as I was renting it to use for our daughter‘s wedding to transfer a few items from the ceremony to the reception. And it was important for us to pick it up in Radium and drop it off because we would be on a very tight timeline. I was assured that we would be able to do this. I then called a couple of months ago to update the file to to give exact times when we would pick it up and drop it off and reiterated everything at that time again. Then the Thursday before the wedding. (Last week) I got the pick up information and it was for Fairmont, Hot Springs, pick up and drop off, which was way out of our way!! I then called the U-Haul number and was informed at that time that Radium Hot Springs outlet had closed two weeks ago??? And that Invermere had also closed? So that put us in a bit of a dilemma and we have to come up with another plan which caused us to rent the trailer that we just dropped off from gold for four days instead of for 24 hours. We had to find a place to park, etc. and all of it was just a bit inconvenient. It cost us ALOT more money ($192 vs $30!!!???) and I have to say I was a little disappointed that we didn’t even get a call to say that the Radium Hot Springs outlet had closed or that Invermere also didn’t have an outlet anymore.

Have used the Golden Uhaul a couple times now , Paul is very friendly and goes above and beyond to help book and make the moving process go smooth and stress free . Definitely would recommend Golden Uhaul .
Tracey LIt was a holiday, my vehicle had broken down the night before and I needed to get my daughter and all her belongings the rest of the way back to Calgary. Paul and Raymond somehow made it all happen, hooked me up with a truck and trailer, and we were safely back in Calgary, broken down car and all, later that day.
