There were no keys in the lockbox—any of them—the passenger side door was unlocked and the truck was not loaded with anything we paid for. We were dropped off at this location which meant we had no way to drive to a new location, and because of that had to take Lyft (ride share) instead. When we called customer support, we were transferred through 4 different people before reaching the head of the Virginia offices. She was lovely, helpful, and the best person we experienced throughout our entire rental experience. She deserves all the good in the world coming to her

Christopher SThe equipment I rented was not in the truck and the location was not open to grieve me what I rented. Your customer service system hung up on me 3 times as the reps were trying to transfer me to someone who could help me find it. Your customer service department NEVER solved the problem. I had to find the equipment myself then drive 20 minutes each way to get it. I was 30 minutes late meeting the movers I reserved through your website.

Christina SRenting the U-haul was a little confusing. When I called and made the reservation the gentleman was extremely nice and I was told I would have to wait until they open to pick the truck up. When I got there it was during business hours but the store was closed. I called the number on the door and the guy I spoke to was also very helpful and he said it was a contactless pick up which was fine with me. He helped me complete and pay for the truck over the phone. The truck was completely on empty and I even commented on that with the guy on the phone. He said just to return it as I found it. I went straight to the gas station to put gas in it and got on my way.
