I got u haul from 50 dovercliff road , guelph, Ontario. It’s a convenience store. The guy there told me I don’t have to complete the pre check that should been done through the link. I got the the link but it was not working. When I returned the truck I filled up gas upto the level as in when i got the vehicle. But the person was at the store told me it had higher level gas which is not true. And charged me

full disclosure, I accidentally locked the keys in the vehicle upon returning to Dovercliffe Shoppers Mart. I accept responsibility for that. That said, as someone in the business of renting vehicles, how do you not have two sets of keys to the vehicle? The only solution was to charge me for a service to have someone come out and unlock the truck - again, I acknowledge I made a mistake, but seriously, no effort to help minimize the customers damages. I rent a small truck on average of once or twice a month for my business. I stopped going to the previous location because the back of the truck smelled like someone died in it, and the smell was transfering to my items. I'm done with Uhaul.
JASON DThe mileage and gas on the paper i sign was different than the mileage on the dashboard screen. I showed him the pictures of the truck 🚚 which I took before I moved the truck from its parking spot and i turned the truck 🚚 back. He ignored me. I asked him by saying did you toke a picture of the truck dashboard screen while i was here before i took the truck. He replied no? Why? He couldn't answer. Then he said but i have a picture . When did take the picture. He replied yesterday evening. Why yesterday? I replied him i don't have a business on yesterday Yesterdays picture. business. This is today's picture of the truck. I am no supposed to pay what I didn't used. He said call U-HAUL. I have all confirmations. I need my money back please. Thanks.
OGBAZGHI KTerrible experience. Half an hr to get the truck, everything done by cell phone. 40 mins to return the truck, no refund on over payment... I'll never use U-Haul again.
Jeff WCheck in was awful, I did it all in advance oo line to expedite the check in, but still took me over half hour to have to redo everything on site.
