Lower the per mile charge!

The ez check in was everything but easy! Ended up having g to go inside and do everything all over again.

I had a reservation and still ended up waiting almost an hour and a half before my paperwork was complete. The people working on the computers were rude and unprofessional.

Amber D. on

The truck we drove could probably use a tune up as it had a tendency to hesitate when we were driving.

Tommy M. on

The person that rented me the truck did not seem very personable. She basically rang it up and give me the keys. There was no inspection of the vehicle, mileage verification, nothing. Here's the keys, you know where it is.

The staff was extremely courteous! I was experiencing a stressful move and they offered the right products and helpful hints to get me through it.

The staff was helpful and knowledgeable.

I had an issue from 2012 that was never resolved and also rented last year and still never came up until yesterday trying to rent another u haul. Please try to resolve issues asap so it would not inconvenience anyone. Thank you.

Better customer service. I parked the truck behind 4 other trucks, pretty far back in the return lane. I was then asked by the receptionist to go back and move the truck closer to the door, around the other trucks. I was already on a tight time schedule after being told I had to drop it off in the morning as opposed to the night before due to no drop off after closing. Not the worst experience, but not the best.

The only issue I have with the rental experience is the window was extremely dirty. I had to stop at a local gas station to get the inside window clean in order to drive.

Justin was great and quick to resolve a few issues with our hitch installation as well as to get the blinkers working on the uhaul we rented when we came to pick it up.

Krysta B. on

The pick up process was super easy. However they basically handed me the keys and let me go. I would have expected a once over of the truck, fuel levels, etc. but luckily everything was fine.

I reserved a cargo van 3 weeks in advance for 11am. As I drove to pick it up I called requesting a later pick up, they asked what time, i stated would 2pm be ok, they said that would be OK, just give them a moment to change it in the Uhaul system. I thanked the man. When I arrived, I was told my reservation was cancelled and furthermore, they did not have a van to rent me. I explained the situation but they didn't care and said we have a 17' truck you can rent. I asked what about one of the 3-4 vans out there now, they said they're reserved. I was pressed for time so I got 17 footer. Not only did I wind up spending and extra $25, get the worst customer service ever, here's the best part, my cousin works at the dealer next door and i asked him to keep an eye on my car parked at Uhaul while i left it there. I parked next to 2 cargo vans and they just sat there the entire time i was gone, never rented. Liars and thieves at this location. I over heard another employee tell a customer you must get protection, it's not an option.

I was told that I could not get a tow dolly since it was reserved for 5 hours from now. It took me barely 1,5 hours to tow what I needed to tow. Kudos for hustling me on the more expensive option. Rest assure I won’t be coming back to this place

Make a hallway or walk thru to get from one side of property to the other.

Always a great experience with service, etc.

This was the WORST experience the address U-haul provided was wrong, the phone number was wrong. Customer service was rude and not helpfull

Picked up my truck and it wasn't even cleaned out from the last customer. The trailer tongue safety lock was broken. My trailer ended up coming disconnected while towing it. Luckily nobody was hurt. It was terrifying. The trailer was not properly inspected and installed by the uhaul personnel.

There is some construction happening on the road outside the location, and there is ZERO signage saying where to pull the truck for returns. We decided on the wrong entrance and by the time we got the truck and the auto transport trailer turned around to circle the block and take the correct entrance, we were unable / out of time (turning around took about 20 minutes) to drop off the auto transport and leave to fill up the truck before returning it. It was raining and while this issue was obviously not the fault of the desk clerks, the lack of any signage at all was borderline infuriating to someone who has just moved from one state to another and is trying to return a truck that corporate headquarters has paid for. This is not a small facility and needs to have much better signage for the customers returning trucks. It’s a safe guess we aren’t familiar with the facility.

Best checkin ever, wonderful woman who was very courteous and informative.

I rented a 17 for 24 hours. The vehicle had 7/8 gas upon pickup. I drove the truck 13.86 miles. I put $6.00 worth of gas, putting the fuel level between 7/8 and full over fueling from its pick up level. I returned the truck after 7 hours. The lot attendant advised it would be a few minutes to check us in. I left the keys in the vehicle in the check in lane after waiting an hour with no service. I received my receipt the following day. Upon reviewing I discovered that I was charged $17.00 for gas. I called the store and spoke with the manager who insisted that the gas information was correct. I asked the manager to explain to me how I was able to deplete over a half a tank of gas going on 14 miles. I feel that I was robbed by U-haul, and will never rent from this entity in the future.

My debit card was charged 3x for one rental and they can’t tell me why.
