The exact opposite of the pickup location. Everything you want and expect in a rental business. People VERY nice

The person checking my truck was rude because he couldn't figure out the discrepancy in his computer. Another person came and figured it out in two minutes. And was polite.

I reserved two trailer to be picked up on Saturday 7/7/18 after waiting line for 45 min, only to find one the trailers had to be picked up 1hour away. This cause major problems, after driving out my way to pick up the trailer I lost time gas and the help that committed to help move our furniture. I call customer service file #1862535 this is not the first time I’ve rented from uhaul I believe this is my 12th rental this year. I feel I should be compensated for the enconvience

I have been charged twice for a rental that I only used one time. I was overcharged for mileage and not given a receipt. I was told that my account would be credited immediately.

Cynthia was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to help us in every way possible. Had and issue with the return process, but again Cynthia stepped up and made everything right. Would Highly recommend dealing with her personally.

Have additional agents. There was only one and she had a lot of customers to deal with.

i made reservation using the mobile pick up option so i wouldn’t have to wait in line. however the key to the truck wasn’t in the lockbox and therefore i had to go inside and wait in a long line anyway. however the app showed that i already picked up the truck at my reserved time when i actually didn’t. i waited in line 30 minutes to get the key. what is the point in offering a service so you don’t have to wait in a line but have to do so anyway?

Don’t use online check in/check out. It was pouring down rain when I went to pick up my truck and the process took way too long. The U-Haul location had parked the truck where I was not easily able to view the sides of the truck so it was hard to locate and take pictures of all of the previous damages made. Checking it back in was simple, however.

The location was severely understaffed on a Saturday on the last of the month, which is obviously a huge moving day. The employees themselves were doing everything they could and did not do anything wrong. However, it shouldn’t take me over an hour to get my reserved vehicle. It seemed like there might have been a computer issue that was holding things up as well. When I finally got to the counter, I was told that I needed to wait for someone to return a truck. I realize that there’s nothing you guys can do about customers not returning trucks on time, but it makes me wonder why I even bothered making a reservation in the first place. Again, I place no fault on the employees of this location. They seemed just as stressed out as I was. I just think that corporate could probably do a little bit more to prevent these types of situations.

When I ended up at this location the lady dealt with was extremely professional and helpful. I originally reserved my truck at this location for 3 o'clock and was called the day before and told no truck was available and the nearest one was 45 miles away. The morning of I was called and told the truck was out and wouldn't be ready until 5 o'clock. I drove the 45 minutes arrived just before 5 and the truck was there. I tried to use the app to pick the truck up, but the app gave a message that said "no truck is assigned to this reservation, please call Jeremy Dunn for assistance. I called the number for Jeremy Dunn, who didn't answer and the voicemail box was full. I called U-Haul customer service and was on hold and spoke to a total of 5 people over the course of an hour. The last person I spoke to told me I could not get the truck because the location was not an after hours pick up location. He then said let me see what I can find. He then sent me back to the location where I originally reserved the truck. To sum it up this was a horrible experience.

Good equipment but the worst customer service I have ever experienced within this line of business.

The passenger truck had been hit by another vehicle before I rented it - difficult to open and close and lots of road noise while driving. In addition, was given the wrong contract and had to call while moving to fix.

Before I continue, I want to give a shout out to your GM. I don't know how she handled the mayhem during our visit, but she did everything in her power to make sure we left happy. But your system did not set her up for success. 1. We arrived at 9:45 for a 10:00 am reservation. We were third in line, but we stood there for over 20 minutes for the first part of our ordeal. Your systems were down. Your company had scheduled what appeared to be a new person as the secondary desk person. And it appeared that the two "up front" people were the only ones there. They were checking out equipment, fetching add ons like blankets etc. It made no sense, and the line grew and grew. 2. When we were finally seen, we learned that UHaul did not have our truck. OH! And I NEVER received my confirmation call. Even if I missed it, which I don't believe I did, no voicemail was left, no email was sent. The store had our reservation on file, but you were out of trucks. 3. Partially because of your insane system of stacking customer rentals. The customer who was renting "our" truck before us was late. So we were out of luck. No fault of our own, we were there early! No alternate location was suggested. 4. However, alternate gear was suggested. We went with a different kind of van, and your GM suggested we see if it would work. it would. But by the time we got back into the office building (1 minutes), she had taken another customer to try to deal with the line that was building up. We had to wait for another 30 minutes. How does your company not have a better CRM system? does every transaction seriously take 20-30 minutes? no wonder your employees are drowning. 4. Finally got our vehicle after an HOUR. Still not the one we'd reserved, but we were just thankful to leave. 5. We rushed through our move, because we had to be back by 5 and we'd lost an hour at your shop, we were pressed. No option to extend, because of course someone else's reservation was backed up right to ours. 6. We return to the shop and follow all posted instructions. Including the one that said "pull up to the bay and wait with your equipment." So, in 100-degree heat, we waited for almost 10 minutes. No one appeared. Thank GOD your vehicles have decent AC. So we gave up and went inside and waited in line for another 10 minutes. Another customer, obviously a regular renter, walked in and just dropped off his keys, so we realized we could do the same, even though we interrupted your front desk person. We will NEVER ever ever ever rent from UHaul ever again. Despite heroic efforts from your General Manager, it is clear that UHaul has massive systemic issues when it comes to customer service, and I'm completely sure that another company would have done far better.

Save the truck they requested. I thought I'd be getting at least a 17.5 truck, or larger as that is what we discussed. Instead you gave me a 13 truck which forced me to make 2 extra trips by car from Williamsburg to Richmond and at 84 years old, it was too strenuous. Needless to say, I was very disappointed as it delayed my moving by 2 days and was very costly to me.

The customer service at this location was terrible. From the top to the person checking me back in when I got back. This is not the first time I've had a problem here. But will not go back to this location.

Wow. This was a huge, beautiful new facility. However, the staff clearly were uninterested, unmotivated, and unhelpful. I wanted to rent a hand truck---but there wasn't a single one available. He man who assisted in renting the storage for our left over items clearly had no enthusiasm for custome service. The man who received our rented truck didn't speak---only grunted. Unbelievable.

This is the second time since May I have returned a trailer early in the morning and the woman working there couldn’t have been friendlier or more professional! Bravo!

The lady at the counter is rude and no customer care at all. Got charged unnecessarily for the equipment I have not requested online. Some one from management can talk to me on how I got charged extra and mistreated during the return.

Severely under staffed and offered no guidance. Employees knew there was long wait and continued to take their time.. very frustrating

I waited an hour total once I got there to be checked in & get my rental. It needed to be cleaned & checked despite coming 20min after my pick up time. Someone after me was helped to hook up a tow trailer to his truck before my truck was made ready & there was someone else at the location that should have helped with the trailer
