I gave it a below average because at first my confirmation reservation was disputed and I had to insist that they honor it. The lady at first said this is what the computer says and she could not do anything but I showed her my phone w the information and she had to call customer service to fix it. I was there for an express pick up but didn’t leave until 1 hour later.

clerk said my online reservation did not take. How did he have my address and phone number? I asked for $8 insurance online and he set $10, so had to change. They had two trailers one half full of leaves and one with a fair amount of ice on the bed. I was given the one with ice that I had to take a claw hammer to, to keep off mattress and box springs.

Counter person lied to me. Said they would make a correction in the system that would show up by the time I got to the drop off location. Did not happen. Called the pick up store and was transferred to customer service. She was not helpful and her attitude and phone demeanor were bad. She talked down to to me. Said she would send my concern and phone # to the pick up location and that they would contact me. That was four days ago and I still haven’t heard from anyone. U-Haul has left a poor impression with how they deal with their customers.

Wow. Worst experience of my life. Walked in and both guys were on their cell phones and couldn’t give a shit if I was there. Then they gave me attitude about the legit questions I asked. When I returned the 2 guys again told me to go to one place then told me to go to another then finally decided on a spot to drop the trailer. I had to do it by myself with no help and it was 12 degrees outside. Also the 2 guys were dicks. Fuck U-Haul for hiring pieces of shit like that

Be more helpful when someone asks you a question. A simple response when asked about transportation around town should be met with an answer, not a "don't know". You are helping people who are moving and some are new to the town and the state! Don't be rude!

Staff need to be very exact about the amount of gas remaining in a vehicle. I think that I was made to pay for gas that wasn't there yesterday....

It was very busy and the large volume of returning vehicles was unexpected. One person at the counter and one person inspecting the vehicles upon return. The “customer service rep” at the desk was helping the other with returns too. Great team work! Perhaps having one extra person to remain at the desk would help. Again, the service was great!

The gas cap was broken I had to go to that U-Haul location let them unscrew the cap with a pair Grip Pliers and go back and put gas in the truck that was a waste of my time and I think something else could have been done so I wouldn't have to been inconvenience, that was not a mistake of mine I call the store before I brought the truck back and no one there acted like they knew what to do, that was my time my money and I don't like either one of those being compromised

Mileage rates are ridiculous. $29.95 for the truck but at the end of the rental ended up paying over $70.

Original truck at another site was not ready at our pickup time and nobody answered the 24/7 phone number listed. We had to be rerouted to a different facility which put us an hour behind and made us late to meet movers.

Seat of the truck was wet. Lady behind the register couldn’t be bothered to pull it around, point it out and certainly not hook it up to the UBox I also ordered. The truck I was given, that she couldn’t even find and didn’t have the number on the back, also didn’t have a trailer hitch. Not good since I also ordered a ubox. Check my account, I move a lot, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Hopefully I stay in my current location for awhile and even if it’s Cheaper I’ll use someone else. Excellent job from Cynthia and everyone I spoke to there. Quick pick up and drop off. I was a surprised how much the mileage cost though..$.69 per mile local? Plus I returned with a full tank..was on 5/8 when I picked up. So it was a little pricey for what I had to do..maybe the first ten or 15 miles free would be nice. Mine was a last minute reservation so I could not be happier how smoothly it all went.
