How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe rental equipment was not available for me to use on arrival after being charged for it. I received a call but U-Haul saying they will refund me for the equipment however, at the return of the U-Haul, I was charged $480 for the “missing equipment” I never received and have not received a return phone call.
KAYLI BI top off the gas before dropping it off. I have the receipt and a photo of gas tank gauge with clearly shows 7/8 but whoever checked, it reported wrongly and I was charged extra.. unnecessary mistake which causes stress and time to make a phone call and to get refunded
firooz kCustomer service. The gentleman that was at the location wasn’t very friendly at all. From the moment I got there the first thing I said was hi. I’m here for a pick up and directly after that he said I’ll pick up for what? Then somehow I must’ve put the wrong telephone number in my reservation attitude about that. He asked me whose number it was and I said I don’t know, but I’m giving you the correct number. The entire process was uncomfortable and lacked polite customer service. I have used U-Haul previously and didn’t experience the same attitude. I probably wouldn’t go back to that one again conveniently is the closest one to me, but I would just go further because of the treatment I received.
scharliea dAlthough I selected yes, the cabin and cargo box of the vehicle was untidy. I swept it out, but didn't have a vacuum to give the cabin a good clean. Additionally, I did not get the furniture dolly I was charged for. The furniture pads weren't loaded in the back of the truck, as expected, so I had to pick up some furniture pads that were piled on the floor next to the building. Asides from that, the truck worked well. No issues.
