Last minute switching the customer to a pickup location an hour away is unacceptable. There's a reason I booked everything weeks in advance, it's not ok to change that less than 24 hrs before pickup time. I will not be using uhaul ever again as a result of this nightmare

The employee who helped us was very nice and super helpful. He listened to our concerns about being charged around $2,100 after originally being quoted about $1,595 and agreed that the difference was absurd. He made the drop-off process much easier and was great to work with. I really appreciated his help after the confusion with the original rental.

Michelle HNot the fault of the location manager, but the reservation location I made through the UHaul app was not honored when I got the pre-rental message less than 24 hours prior to pickup. They instead informed me that I had to go to a different location farther from me. Not just an inconvenience, but also making them more money for mileage to my home. AND, I had pre-qualified my reservation with the preferred location. He was as shocked as I was that UHaul was trying to to move my reservation. Shame on UHaul! Also, the truck was older and was difficult to drive because the steering was so loose.
