The unit I tried to rent had the check engine light on it as soon as I started the engine. I called roadside, and a tow truck came. The driver added 2 quarts of oil and told me I was good to go. I took the truck, and within 10 miles, I was stranded on the side of I459. I called roadside again. A mechanic came this time. He had to add coolant and readjust the Stabilitrak system. I told him I was not comfortable continuing with that truck. I was just grateful that I had not yet loaded the truck. The mechanic took that Uhaul back to the location I rented from; his partner drove his (mechanic's) truck and followed the mechanic, my daughter, who had been driving behind me when the Uhaul failed, took me to a different location to rent a new truck. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. THEY DO NOT DO MAINTENANCE. THERE WERE FEDEX SLIPS IN THE CUBBY ON THE DASH. THESE TRUCKS ARE USED AND ABUSED FOR DELIVERIES AND NOT MAINTAINED. I LEARNED MY LESSON AND WILL ONLY RENT FROM REGULAR UHAUL OFFICIAL LOCATIONS FROM NOW ON.

2 time to rent the u haul van. Easy process overall
Christina AThey gave me low fuel at 30 miles . I used $20 dollars of my money to fill it up . & the guy refused to give me a refund for filling my car up .
jaelonda bThe U-Haul was dirty, wasn’t full of gas, the parking lot was filthy with trash and drug needles
Cynthia BVery little communication. The gas station attendant had to help us know where to go and what to do. A text the day of the return would've been helpful. It could've listed the required steps and information about drop-off location and procedures. The mileage charges for overages approach price gouging. With the prices you are charging for your trucks, you should really offer more than 124 miles over 2 days. I was offered two or three different "deals" the day before our rental if we would take a bigger truck or tow a trailer for you. If you're able to offer such "deals" to assist your business model, you really should consider other ways to lower your prices just to assist your customers.
