This was the worst experience I have ever had. The digital check in was fine, however the “first” drop off location was horrible. They would not take my key and told me I was at the wrong place when clearly I was not. They directed me to 1024 Montgomery HWY in Vestavia. Vestavia was not able to “transfer” the location because the ticket was closed out which led me to 1 hour and 20 minutes of 9 phone calls, 3 hang up calls and a call to corporate Birmingham “traffic” which was UPSTAIRS!! The woman on the phone said she would transfer the drop off location however as of 4:30 yesterday afternoon it still had the original drop off.

Not only would I not recommend uhaul to anyone I would go and will go out of my way to advise any to go else where to move there stuff!!!

Although this was just a drop off for a truck, the drop-off location was a convenience store/gas station with one clerk trying to do it all. She was trying to confirm the condition of the truck while also trying to check out other people at the counter who were buying gas, cigarettes, etc. Kind of ridiculous.

They didn’t have all the requested equipment and I had to use my gas to drive around town looking for a dolly

Everything was ok

Customer service personnel was very knowledgable when I dropped truck off. When I tried to book same truck for return trip, I was told it would be $250 more than what I paid in Florida. I booked Penske for my return to Fla. Done with U-Haul price gouging.

This was the most overpriced scamming U-Haul I have ever used in my life I end up in a $107 just to use the U-Haul which was recommended for 24 hours and not be charged but we're charged $109 very very disgusting I would not recommend this place to anybody it's a rip-off

This location was in a run down gas station. There was only one person working in the building, so while he was collecting the dolly and the furniture blankets, he asked me to watch the gas station for him. When he came back with the blankets, half of them were wet, i found this out when i was loading them into the back of the truck, which also had a refrigerator box and trash in it. When i took the wet blankets back inside, the employee instructed me to go to the back to look for clean/dry blankets. This was very difficult because it appeared that the blankets were being used to mop up water coming from a recently broken ice maker. I wont be returning to this location, and i would recommend that uhaul stop by for an inspection.

Uhaul seems to be a side venture at this location. Was close to where I needed trailer for but very run down, understaffed, and unorganized. Had to connect trailer to vehicle by myself.

At the end of the transaction and when I wanted to submit the uhaul, your online system asked me more than double payment. I had to call couple of times and wasted my time. Very bad experience from uhaul team, not with the location staff.

Better signage that it is a uhaul location. And help getting the trailer from any staff would have been appreciated. Especially with it raining at the time.

It was a junky gas station with people who didn't really know what they were doing.

The location was clean and the employee was pleasant. He said my rental was all good and said that I would receive an email and did not give me any paperwork. Three days later I finally received an email and I was charged for THREE ADDITIONAL DAYS! I don't know what happened but this is absolutely ridiculous to be charged almost double the amount I should have been!

Don't guarantee a pickup in one city, but the pick up is almost an hour away.

My mom gave her debit card just to hold reservation of the uhaul, they told her it would not be charged and that mine would, they charged her debit after telling her several times it would not be charged

The parking lot that is used to drop off they Uhaul is not very big and if vehicles or trailers are not placed from back to front, no one can get in and have a place to drop off other than leaving it on the side of the road. Parking is horrible.

The attendance at the location were not helpful and very short with answers. The location dose not look safe.

If it smells like urine, someone defiled it before you got to it. It was bad.

The clerk was very helpful and friendly. the store was just odd. the trash bin where the truck drop off is located was overflowing and gross. It looked like a window had been broken at the store as there was a slab of wood instead of glass.

Once you start with a customer, pay attention to them and don't push them aside to take customer coming in the store to purchase other items. When a customer ask you to walk outside to check the truck before they take possession of it, do it. Don't act like it is not a big deal. Be more professional and don't be lazy.

Maybe training ALL employees how to do the computer. The lady there was VERY helpful so I'm not saying in a bad way, but with it being a gas station it took a long time and there were some very impatient customers that walked out. She was amazing though learning it over the phone!

Parking at this location is terrible. The U-haul rep shares a counter with a convienence store which creates extra wait time. No assistance available for hook-up so DIY. Trailer tires were bad out of balance. Parking was blocked on return and I could go on.
