Hello Uhaul, It has been awhile since I rented one of vehicles, to be exact it was 34 years ago. When moved from Norristown to Hatboro. I remember having to add a quart of oil to the engine that was 2 quarts low. The truck got us through. It was quite a different experience this time. The truck was fully serviced and ready to go !! We loaded the 15 foot truck to its capacity & it performed remarkably. The only negative thing I could say that the noise in the cab was very high you could barely hear the radio or to converse with the passenger.Thomas K.

Trailer had rock , grass and trash strewn about ( waaaaay more than should've been tolerated). Again, during my 20 minute wait for placing an order over the phone, the inventory was inaccurate, I drove onto the lot, and went inside to inquire. As expected, the trailer I wanted was there AND available. Frustrating. Now, the reason I can gues that the hub doesnt have the correct info is because the returned eqiuipment isn't inventoried immediately upon return. I STILL have not received my return confirmation. I want someone to reply to these points I have made to show that there is actually an interest or care in customer care. Regards, BillWILLIAM R.
Provide better communication from corporate texts. Texts were uninformative and confusing. Based on those texts and subsequent interactions with representatives on the phone, I would never use uhaul again. Poor, bad experience. Your in person staff at Horsham store saved this review however I am inclined to try a different provider in the future to see if that experience is easier and less confusing.Alan J.
When making a reservation online, I arrived to find that the equipment requested (two moving dollies) was unavailable with the truck rental. The staff was lacking in knowledge as to what equipment they had on site and were unable to provide any alternative plans to providing the equipment I had requested. Moreover, they were clearly noncompliant with the state mask mandate which testifies to lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this site to anyone and only rented a truck here out of necessity. Will use alternative company such as Penske in the future.JACOB K.

I would recommend the location for convenience and the dyer need for a vehicle to move belongings only. I was quite unhappy with the true lack of customer service when calling this location while out on the road. I was on hold for at least 15-20 minutes and not one associate got on the line. This business about communicating via email while out on the road is a hardship. A simple phone conversation would have been a lot faster and much easier for me. I rented a cargo van for the day this past Sunday, May 2, 2021. I picked it up at 9:30 am, as I had a reservation. Not at any point in my conversation with the rep at this location did we speak about having to have the cargo van back at this location by 2pm. We spoke about the shop closing at 5pm only. I told the rep that I would be returning the van before closing. Not once did the rep tell me it had to be back by 2 pm. I stumbled on to this after reading through the text message that was sent to my cell phone an hour or so after leaving the location with the cargo van. Why 2pm? Isn't the rental for a period of 24 hours? The sign reads $19.99 plus miles and tax. Nothing about $19.99 for 4 hours. When I tried to reach the rep to clarify this mis- representation, no one picked up my call. Why? And why the mis-representation? Very discouraging!! Poor customer service when picking up uhaul. First time we rented one so we didn't know what to expect. Guy just took our $, didn't explain anything or go over what we selected online. Also, Trying to call and get ahold of anyone is a joke. Waited for over an hour to report we had no dollies which I did select online. ( if worker would have went over our online selections, issues could have been avoided) When I got ahold of someone which I'm assuming is not this place but a cooperate person. She was a bitch. Saying we should have checked for it before we left. The app never went over the dollies, just the x marks of damage On the vehicle. The app and internet is awesome but workers should confirm what customers select before handing the keys over.Charles B.

Went to pick up and sign on door saying back in hour. 4 people waited with me, 3 others just left This delayed me so i could not return same day. Next morning I had appointment and could not get the hauler back unitl 40 minutes past 24 hour cut off and was unbelievably charged full extra day.Mark C.
When I returned the RT, I was informed that I would be checked in, and the $8.00 fee for some kind of insurance, which I didn't approve, but I also didn't look at the paperwork, (my fault), would be removed and an email would be sent confirming return. The following day I inquired about the confirmation and was informed it wasn't completed. This would have led to additional charges, had I not checked. On a positive note, the outgoing rental was quick and easy. Staff was very cordial and helpful. They apparently enjoyed what they do.I would use the services again. Thank you for listening. I was overcharged heavily for gas. I sent an email with pictures showing that the fuel gauge was not even at 1/2 tank and also an after pic showing how much was used. I expect to be reimbursed as I saw you charged me an additional $40.00 on top of the rental and no response. Now I have been on hold with customer service for over 40 minutes. The UHAUL I rented was in bad shape, engine and all. The ONLY good thing about this experience was the employee at the desk was nice.
