I reserved my rental nearly a week before at the Dunkirk location. When I arrived, my rental was still buried and no attempt to dig it out was made. There were 4 people standing around at the counter. One of them called U-Haul to have my reservation transferred but not until I was present for pick-up. That took 45 mins to transfer me to a location 10 miles in the opposite direction than I had planned on traveling…..thanks for that U-haul. That said, once at Calvert Auto, it was smooth sailing. They too had to dig out my rental but they didn’t complain about it, they just did it. Had U-Haul notified them of my transfer I’m sure it would have been ready when I arrived. The guys hooked the trailer to my truck and off I went. Despite the delay with Dunkirk, Calvert Auto help me stay on schedule with my project. Drop off was an absolute breeze too.
