The computer aspect was a little tough. My son had to download his driver's license twice, and it still wouldn't go through. Finally he got it, and a few other things were tough too. However, I truly don't think that was the man's fault, it seems like the system is difficult to use. I also was and am still VERY unhappy about having to go to Huron, instead of Aberdeen, which is where I requested having a truck available back in February. This completely changed our whole move, and necessitated another night on the road and a lot of other changes. Plus I don't understand it! I requested a 20' truck, NOT a 26' foot, which they tried to get us to take, and I think that 20' trucks were in Aberdeen! This may all be small to U-Haul, but it was HUGE to us. Finally, U-Haul should make much, much more clear that you could have to drive a couple of hours (one way) just to get your truck, when you reserve it.

Trailer door was very hard to open and close—door is damaged therefore making the open/shut process difficult. The staff at Mac’s was rude and nearly denied my rental by saying “it was too late for uhaul rentals” although I had a reservation and met my pickup time. The trailer was overall in poor condition. It was dirty, and didn’t have a normal extension for trailer lights.

paulo cThe location was great. The workers were really nice. My only complaint with U-Haul was that I had to go away 45 miles to pick it up when we had a location in town. No extra miles were given and I ended up be charged 4 miles. I only went from pick up, to house, to new location, and drop off center. The drop off center is across the street from new location.
