Took for ever to get the keys even though I did the reservation online the truck smelled horrible cigarettes ash on the door

RENAND FThe Royal location did a good job. Everything went as it was suppose to and everything went smooth. However I had originally made my reservation with a franchisee in Whitestown Indiana. My experience with him was terrible. I made reservation with him to pick up on a Sunday. He said go online and they will give me the info to pick up my truck using the lock box. Within 10 minutes of making my reservation, I got an email that they could not guarantee my reservation and it would be switched to another location. I checked I did not want to switch. I went back to the location I made my reservation and told him about the email. He said, ignore it, I will be able to pick it up at his location. Needless to say, this was a lie. I called Uhaul from the Royal Inn location on Sunday and they called the Franchisee and he claimed he did not remember me or doing that. I can't explain his actions, it was clear I made my reservation from there and I met with him twice in a twenty minute time frame. He only had 6 vehicles there at the time so It could not be he had so much business he did not remember me. I will never use this location again and I would not recommend his services to anyone else. The customer service at this location is terrible. The only thing I can think of for this poor service is that it was a bad employee who I met with and the franchisee does not realize what a poor employee he has working for him. Bad recommendation. Again the Royal Inn service was very good and U-Haul corporate tried to help me.
CHARLES TThere was a crack in the windshield prior to me picking it up. Even in the picture. And now they are trying to charge me $500+ to get it fixed
