Did not expect to do the connection of trailer to my truck, but staff gave direction while I did the work, and it worked out.

Didn't ensure equipment was working properly with customer. Additionally, no information was provided at booking that a trailer light adapter would be required for a 4 to 7 pin. Then to get the adapter cost almost the cost of the trailer. I would have brought one if it would have known it would be required.
Jacob TThe lady was crabby and not helpful. I was simply dropping the trailer off and I do not know how to back up with the trailer, she told me that ! will have to unhook it myself and physically push it into the "correct" spot. I am 60. I cannot physically move the trailer. I flagged down some random guy to assist me. If I couldn't find anyone, I reluctantly would have unhooked it and left it right in the middle of the lot. Not a great representation of UHaul. UHaul location employees are much nicer and more helpful.
Jan SI made a reservation to drop the trailer at this location at 10am on July 3. The day before I confirmed the drop off location and time. When I arrived, the location was closed for the holiday. The website did not say they would be closed. I called the Minneapolis area U-Haul rep. She told me to leave the trailer there and it would be checked in when the location reopened. I questioned her again about it, including the blankets in the back. Again, she said to drop and I could leave. She didn't tell me there was a procedure on the app for checking in after hours. On Monday July 6 I got an email for an additional charge. When I called the location, the owner was dismissive and said I didn't follow procedure. He said "too bad for you." Sad situation. The place was a dump. Someone from U-Haul should do a visit to see for yourselves. This entire rental process was less than expected for U-Haul. Communication is a wonderful thing when it occurs.
Allan AJust keep being you! I did have a problem with doing the photos after picking up the U-Haul so I hope that doesn’t cause any issues. I did take them personally myself so if you need me to send them on my phone to verify the gas gauge, etc. please let me know.
