I picked the truck up with 1/4 tank of fuel and returned it with a half tank of fuel and was not recompensed the cost of the extra fuel I left in the truck. There was no way to upload the picture of the fuel gauge to prove I returned it with more gas than I picked it up with. Upon picking up the truck there was a lack of communication. Language barrier was the main issue as the proprietor was not on site and had his wife trying to complete the transaction via 3-way phone call. It was not the best dealings I've had in my past experiences with other UHaul locations.

I was charged for gas even though I put gas in it to where it was when I got it.

Sheri RThis location is at a gas station located in an area where the average person would not feel completely safe, it's not well kept, and customer service was below average. Clerks (4 in all) did not know much if anything about U-haul rental aspect. They could not access/find my reservation. One fiddled around on a U-haul app on his phone for 30-45 minutes trying to find my info. Eventually he called an official U-haul rep, gave me the phone, and things started moving forward. My phone conversation with rep was exceptional. I hooked up the trailer then had to re-enter store to inquire about wiring harness, waited an additional 10-15 minutes for them to find it. I'll only rent from an actual U-haul store from now on.
