This location was someone’s residence. I could clearly see by the UHaul trucks in the yard that this was the correct location. When I pulled in a woman came out and stated that they were closed and that she did not have a drop off scheduled for that day. I have only used UHaul for local moves which required pick up and drop off on the same day. I was told at the pick up location that I could drop it off early if need be. The woman at the drop off location then stated that it would be alright to drop it off. I was told to leave the truck running and that she would park the truck for me, she would get it all checked in and she would sent me a confirmation when she had that done. Big mistake. I did not receive any confirmation. The next day I called the number for the location drop off only to have my call forward to a voicemail with no indication that it was related to UHaul at all, so I did not leave a message. The website location showed that they were closed. I then called the location where I picked up the truck to see if they had any indication that the truck had been returned. Gave all my information to a gentleman and he was going to have someone call me back. No call. I look into a link that was sent to me for a previous reason and I see that the truck had been checked in and that I had been charged an extra $79.35. I had filled the gas tank to the level of just below half. The contract stated 7/16. Have used UHaul many times in the past. Never had an issue before, but this drop off experience was costly. I would recommend that UHaul use business locations only for drop off locations. If a person representing UHaul says they will check in the truck for you, be prepared for a charge.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe truck driver side door was no properly sealed. Needs new weather stripping or something. The wind noise from that door was incredibly loud at highway speeds.
