I didn't rent any equipment, just the truck. I am being charged a $23.40 fuel fee and a $30.00 fuel service fee. These charges are incorrect as the truck actually had more fuel upon return than when I picked it up. Additionally, I am disputing the $25.00 cleaning fee. I returned the vehicle in the same condition I received it, having cleaned the cab and swept the back. There was no need for professional cleaning. Regarding my mileage, I estimated 30 miles and drove 44 miles. At $1.29 per mile, the total is $56.76. Since I already paid $38.70 for the initial estimate, I should only be charged the difference of $18.06. I have already paid a holding amount of $109.65 via the app. Based on the above, I expect a refund for all unauthorized fuel and cleaning fees, with my final additional charges totaling only $18.06 for the extra 14 miles. This not my first time renting with U-Haul and I had rented for 5 days out of state before without any issues I look forward to your prompt resolution of this matter.
