Upon return the employee was very rude. Stated the vehicle was filthy in the back and upon inquiring about the 3 leaves and a small twig that was present if that's what he meant we were met with disgust and no answer but a threat of an additional $25 being added for cleaning. At that point we grabbed the broom and swept those miniscule things out to close our return just upon leaving to see the gentleman sweeping the truck again. This location was disappointing as it pertains to customer service.

I was charged for cleaning and for pads a didn't use. Won't be using that location again for my moving needs. Ended up paying twice what I thought I was going to.

We were sent to a different address for a 1030 pickup but the shop was closed. We proceeded back to our original reservation address to find out they did not have what we needed. We were upgraded to a bigger trailer but it was not clean and was not well maintained. The shop owner was not friendly. Have equipment ready at the location requested on the reservation. Have equipment clean and ready. Ups pickup stores should be open during regular business hours.

I did not know there would be an $100 hold on my debit card (he said prepaid cards - not sure if my bank card qualifies) just for using it versus using a credit card. I can understand the reason behind it, to ensure they get all of their money, which is what I was informed of. I actually used the same Uhaul location about 2 weeks prior and this was not the case. When I came in this time, he asked if I wanted to use my card I completed the rental order with, I said yes. My estimated total was supposed to be about $59, fine. But when he went to input it, it said there would be a $100 hold in addition to the $59, which I was like fine because they normally do not run/process it until it is returned and they can apply any additional charges or recalculate if it is less. This time the card was run right then, which was new to me unless they always do it and I just never knew but I normally don't get a charge until the next day as the location is closed when I return it. I don't know what the policy is but if it could either be added to the site or disclosed upon the rental order or something where you can be informed prior to processing/pick up, that would be great.

Customer service is sincerely lacking. For pick up and drop off the tenant was late. Upon trying to complete the registration, we were blown off and stated “it would be a while before checking in”. In trying to communicate the tenant was very nonchalant and blew us off. We were told we would be reimbursed unused mileage, but instead we were charged extra for allegedly being 2 gallons below the fill up line (in all actuality we were above). Other customers changed their reservation due to the lack of customer service. Will not do business again with this site.

There were 2 Uhaul locations on Blue Ridge - we drove in to the lot and asked to drop off the car carrier early. After much manuevering in the very tiny fenced in lot and unhooking the trailer - they asked to see our paper work. At this point they tell us we are at the wrong location and they also cannot give us any paperwork that we were leaving the trailer. When we expressed concern they accused us of being racist. Needless to say we quickly unloaded the van and got it right back. We received the paperwork at this point.

We did not realize this was not really 24 hour drop off site when we chose it when making the online reservation. The parking lot was blocked off and tried to call U Haul to see if there was a way we could choose an alternate location. Was on hold for 10 minutes, finally decided to park on the grass, since there was no other place to park. Very small lot and it was packed with vehicles. not sure there would have been a place to park even if they were open.

I rented a uhaul on 5/15/19 and the gas tank was right under the quarter mark. I took a picture of the dashboard as soon as I picked It up. I replaced the gas before I returned It. I was charged a $64 fee for gas! I am so upset
