The Courtenay site texted me to drop off in Cranbrook not Kimberly. Again confusing.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI was able to book a remote (cell phone) pickup for 9 am. The vehicles are located in a locked storage facility which is not open until 10am, so couldn't access on time. I was back at the gate at 10am. Still no staff. Had to call and wait for someone to arrive. When I finally got the vehicle it had ZERO gas in and was informed I would have to go fill it on my own. Staff had no care or respect for customer service. I was then told I had to park my own vehicle at my risk outside the facility on the street. This U-haul experience was one I will not repeat.
Christopher BThere was no personnel on site. We did the self drop off.
Kevin PI was charged for $146 in gas charges when the vehicle was brought back with MORE gas than initially given The gentleman I chatted with regarding the situation was rude. 10 Sept 215pm I then chatted with Rae Winston at the 1 800 Number See was excellent / fabulous / helpful / kind / understanding …. Great employee and person !!!
Michael SThe U-Haul site is at a locked storage site. There are no instructions on how to enter or contact anyone. The 15' truck that I rented (originally in Cranbrook BC and changed one day before rental) was not available at the new site. By chance, someone was returning a 10' truck while we were figuring out what to do. I elected to take the 10' truck, which did not allow us to pack everything, so the entire day wasn't a waste. Extremely disappointed.
